It seems like there's something going on in this thread on a metatextual level that I'm not enlightened to

Despite this, I wish Mr. StichZombie with the best of luck and say hello thread.

I'm listening to a Canadian rapper and he seems pretty good.

    (youtub)

I had been wondering who and what that song was all about for some time

I remember seeing this video on Beavis and Butthead or something long ago, but nothing else about it!

It is catchy nonsense, and I'm cool with that.

Good luck Whippy! You're supercool and deserve gainful employment.

My most recent contract just finished up, so I'm back on the jobhunt myself. Job hunting in a recession sucks so much. I live in our capital city though. That helps a lot.

I have a job. I enjoy this job.

It's just that I also don't enjoy this job.

Also I actually have qualifications I could use for a far better job, and working in electronics retail means I'm squandering said qualifications.

The point is, Whippy, you're many steps ahead of me. I am part of the 90% of people you are doing better than.

    I guess.

At least you can enjoy not working? Not working means more forum times!

Anyway, good luck. We're all counting on you.

    Dzień dobry!

    That's Polish for hello.

    I am not Polish.

I spent my years 5 through 19 in a polish-settled immigrant town in the middle of cousin fuck texas

Every summer they'd have the "polish pickle days" and to kick that off they'd have the "polish pickle run"

The first prize was a jar of pickles

I'd hate to find out what you win if you lose (I hate you pickles)

    But if you hate pickles

and you get pickles for winning

    then

    wouldn't you want to lose

    and therefore

    find out what you win?

    ???

No because if first place is a pile of crap, what do you think they're going to give third? I can only assume it's a worse prize. I guess it could also be less pickles...

Pickles are great, your opinions are terrible and it's "fewer" pickles.

I don't usually correct grammar, but I had already engaged whine mode so I thought I'd make the most of it.

I just realized this today, I need to move myself out of this rut I'm in. Move upwards even if it's just a little bit.

Same thing happened when I moved out. I opened up drawers to find piles of shit that I'd shoved inside because I might need a sticker at some point in the future, or a guide book to a tourist hotspot from 10 years ago, or a collection of magnets.

It was liberating to throw huge amounts of stuff away.

I am moving, too, Air. It is funny packing my books, because there are only two bookcases' worth due to space restrictions and a love of e-books.

And about two-thirds of said bookcases are filled with Doctor Who.

I just moved a week ago!
Went from student apartments to a completely barren room with what few accoutrements and possessions I had.
Within a day I had a bed, a book case, a chest of drawers, an a nightstand for under 400.

Moving it all by myself kinda fucking sucked though.
