Our new Indie Games subforum is now open for business in G&T. Go and check it out, you might land a code for a free game. If you're developing an indie game and want to post about it, follow these directions. If you don't, he'll break your legs! Hahaha! Seriously though.
Our rules have been updated and given their own forum. Go and look at them! They are nice, and there may be new ones that you didn't know about! Hooray for rules! Hooray for The System! Hooray for Conforming!
If that woman's cleavedge made one more person pick the game up off the shelf, it was a net positive for microprose. And to be blunt, if taking her top off could have increased sales enough to get a sequel, I'd endorse it 100000% because I like playing great games.

For the record Eddy and Casual Eddy posting in the same [Chat] thread about the same topic at the same time just about gave me a stroke a few minutes ago.

I am comforted by Richard Dawkins’ theory of memes. Those are mental units: thoughts, ideas, gestures, notions, songs, beliefs, rhymes, ideals, teachings, sayings, phrases, clichés that move from mind to mind as genes move from body to body. After a lifetime of writing, teaching, broadcasting and telling too many jokes, I will leave behind more memes than many. They will all also eventually die, but so it goes. - Roger Ebert, I Do Not Fear Death

I've been reading this series by the release of every deluxe edition. Unfortunately, that's maybe 2 or 3 a year.
Me too, they are all pretty great. Except "The Great Fables Crossover". Which sucked pretty much from beginning to end.
The big weakness in that one is you had to have been reading Jack of Fables. Which, if you'd been reading the TPBs, you weren't.
Even then, Jack of Fables is nice, but not nearly as good.
I understood that, the crossover is much more a Jack type of story. But it was such an abrupt turn from the tone of the regular Fables series that I really couldn't get past it.
wait when you americans say black out to you mean "I don't remember what happened" or "i passed out"?
More often it means the former.
Sometimes people use the two meanings interchangeably.

I agree it was a bad move overall. It made me aware of Jack, which I enjoy, but it was a shitty Fables story.

You're watching the Avengers cartoon on Netflix, I take it? Isn't it rad?

I was immediately enchanted when each of the first episodes focused on an individual hero rather than tried to force them all in to a single episode.

Either go with the old one or the Ultimates one. Don't try and mix.
I don't know what you're watching but the picture in my head is pretty funny
