And I just want to say that what went on in the Post-Phallaism Phalla where the entire village (not just mafia) targets people who are "talking too much" or whatever? Please stop doing it. It helps the mafia. You don't want the mafia to control discourse, no, but you don't want to actively suppress discourse either. The mafia does, though! We should be encouraging, hell we should be requiring discourse from each other. Even arguments. Arguments aren't necessarily "distractions" - they can be rather informative.

edit: The only reason I am drudging that up is because at least one person PMed me during/after that game saying that they "don't talk much" in Phalla anymore because it gets them staked no matter what role they have. That's...not really a good culture to promote in this game, IMO.
A few more days have passed, and progress has once again slowed to a crawl. The promising trail brought from the name "B:L and the Evil Eight" has not borne any fruit. Furthermore, two more deaths in the region were reported, seemingly tied to the criminals behind the heist at Herald Bank. Witnesses Wanda Ruff (Baidol) and Tatum Hash (Peccavi) became the newest victims in a crime wave that was beginning to bring all activity in the city to a crawl.

Meanwhile, within the court room, testimony and accusations continued to pour in. College student Cora Kearn (stever777) was found Guilty based on a most recent wave of evidence. The evidence was also against Corky Oakley (Void Slayer), a seemingly ordinary housewife. She was unable to convincingly produce a case to support her innocence, and locked up. Only time would tell if any progress was being made, but at the moment, it was definite that more was needed. Eliminated Players

So presumably the missing kill is because capfalcon was silly and didn't even put a placeholder order in when he was around after the narration last night, and didn't appear at all during the day.
So revisiting earlier speculation, I'm now kinda conflicted on what the court kills means. It would be extraordinarily silly for the mafia to get rid such an easy wagon target like stever when they could easily milk at the very least 1, if not 2 or 3 more days of distracting the village from him being alive. On the other hand, I'm not quite sure how serendipitous the orders would be to have Cythraul of all people have enough organization to be court killed day one without coordination.
We're still waiting for our mafia PM, please send it to me again just in case.

So, I think the moral of this story, for those of you playing along at home, is that you need to be active. To partake in the discussion that is at hand. And to contribute what you can.
If you have nothing to say, then you should still post! It gives those of us trying to figure things out, stuff to look at.
But for chrissakes, do NOT vacillate wildly on the scale of activity or you will get people to pay attention to you. And that usually ends in death.
