    Cape Feare is a very, very good episode

    my favorite moment is a very subtle one that I didn't notice until I'd seen it probably a dozen times

    it's when Sideshow Bob finishes singing the score of HMS Pinafore

    he starts walking toward Bart and threatening him

    and Bart starts backpedaling

    you're supposed to watch Bob during this part

    but if you watch Bart, his backpedaling becomes completely absurd and beautiful because it goes on for far too long
