A portal opened to Carceri, the prison plane. For some reason several creatures decided to try a new life of eternal imprisonment and agony as opposed to living in Sigil. HollowerFollower, simulacrum , and LoserForHireX jumped through and immediately began screaming in pain.

A tiefling walked the streets, telling everyone who could listen and a few who didnβt care how innocent they were, when in the middle of pleading, Shiny New Toys instantly vaporized in a searing white hot blaze.

A silent black-clothed figure entered its house and lit a torch to reveals walls covered in drawings and writings. Maps and descriptions of various faction controlled buildings and command structures spilled off of tables. The anarchist threw back his hood and looked around the room. Hadnβt had much time for the old goals lately, but this was clearly a more pressing issue. Maybe when this was all over and his contributions were known he and his faction would be listened to. Maybe- his thoughts were cut short as he heard a sound from out side. He quickly extinguished the light.

Chances are extremely good -- if the incinerator is Ignus -- that he's a Serial Killer role. If he perceives the village as being stronger than the mafia he'd take steps to even things out and keep the *ahem* heat off of him.
the fact that ignus has not gotten in contact with the network (presumably, given he's killing them) certainly lends credence to the "he wants to burn everything" theory

Yeah, every single vote of Warban, with the exception of his bandwagon Zandracon vote the day Zandy got lynched, has been a placeholder. He also said he would be on more often after finishing exams, but that did not happen. Unless the remaining network has an idea, let's kill him.
I'm going to give the network a bit to get their heads together before I vote, but warban has definitely been doing a lot of placeholder-ing. That said, post-exam life can be as hectic as mid-exam life... if for different and drunker reasons.
Also, I'd imagine that the Demons are pissed off right now. Losing one to a (fairly random) vote and another to inactivus would be a seriously crappy day for them.

Looking at the death results, incineration has never hit a demon. SK or possibly a demon vig (though with two burned up last night, I'd lean toward the SK theory with them gaining power as they get more kills).
A formless mass of flesh bounced towards its target when it was struck by a flaming projectile. It ran off screaming, barely managing to extinguish itself. Finally it reached its target and began to bite and chew...
The singed mass of formless flesh was on its way to rejoin its peers when it again started on fire. It was hard to say whether jackisreal was screaming in agony or sighing at his luck.
It looks like more than one person can use fire.

I've separated out the manners of death as well, if that's helpful. I've only included those are have been repeated or weren't votes.
Torn to shreds has happened most often and hasn't been directed at any mafia so far. Twice the victim has been also been eaten. This suggest the crazy demons to me.
