no, it's a steal. I hope I've moved to Pittsburgh by PAX so I can take advantage of that crazy price.

If I dorm at school around an hour from where my parents live, which location should I put down?

Should I put down where my friends and I are leaving from instead?

Put down wherever you want, the map is a resource to help people see if there are other PAXers in their area. So, if you spend more time at school, and want to find other PAXers around there, then put down the school. Also, you can always note in the text of the description that you sometimes live an hour away.

Ha.. I just noticed the note on my placemark is cut off. D:
I was TRYING to say that I'll be taking a train to Philadelphia to meet up with a friend and then taking a megabus with her from Philly to Boston.
    FAIL.

    Edit: Fixed!

Just an FYI- (I accidentally threw one in the ocean last night...) when you move a marker there is a notification that appears at the top of the map. Just click undo, problem solved :)

In the past, that wasn't necessary for public maps but they've changed their policy. Also I'm ok with this so there's at least SOME accountability if someone were to be a silly goose and screw things up on purpose.

Yes, awesome. Last year I met 5 or 6 fellow Scottish people at East, not including the guys who came with me. More than I was expecting really.

Agq, I thought about driving from Louisiana, but I am pretty sureits going to end up being cheaper to fly. Tickets right now are about $225, which is less than I would spend on gas and an extra hotel night.

Added! 20 hour drive from Florida! Fellow southern drivers we should try to organize a caravan on the I-95 or I-81. I-95 would be the ideal route. Just a thought!
