I'm trying to get in to some of the HBO series these boards are gaga about. Mostly the wire and breaking bad (i have not seen any episodes of these). Community is also something i' d like to see more of.
In terms of games, I like old school games(16 bit era nintendo is my fave), but currently lack any means to play them. I do own a PS3.
Movies: Not too big on action flicks with a lot of CGI. I like nature films(planet earth and such), hand-drawn animation, comedy and documentaries. I have a nice HDtv, so blue-ray is preferred.
I'm a big fan of cooking, pretty much anything but vegetarian and italian (pasta).
Books are also cool, i love fantasy and horror, but in no way limit myself to these genres. I read everything.
Clothes, everybody wears em i guess. I'm a european size L. I'm not really a funny t-shirt guy, but fashionable stuff is welcome
I smoke and drink, just tossing that out there.
Used electronics are fine.
Bottom-line is, i have a very broad interest, so if you want to surprise me, go ahead!

If you'd like to freestyle it, I'm a pretty big Bioware fan, I have a PS3, I very much enjoy nonfiction books (like collections of humorous essays and the like), and I will be happy with anything you choose to gift me! Thank you dear Satan!
Oh and I am a ladies' medium size shirt, size 6 dress and a size 6 1/2 women's shoe if you feel the need to get a piece of clothing. On a practical note, being a California dweller I do not have much winter clothing-- and I may need some! So if you do choose clothing, I would love cold-weather stuff!
P.S. I am totally cool with used video games, books, movies or whatever so don't feel like you have to get factory-fresh stuff!

there are a lot of webcomic things on my wishlist because i happen to like webcomics! also i doodle quite a bit (i use a 4x6 bamboo fun), so anything along the lines of sketchpads, markers, pencils, canvases, oils, &c will tickle me just fine. Heck, a bigger tablet would be phenomenal, but they tend to be super pricy.
clothing is a mixed bag in that i dont really wear graphic tees, but i'm usually a men's large, 34W x 34L and wear a US 12W (13 otherwise) shoe. I typically wear lots of earthy tones (brown/green/orange), casual button downs and light field shirts. I also like to wear big apple caps during the winter, but they are hella difficult to find the right style. there are a couple on the wishlist as examples
i have a lot of bare wall space that i am trying to fill with cool art and prints! good ideas are: art deco, art nouveau, anything nautical (crustaceans/cephalopods), clouds
as far as outdoorsy stuff goes, i like to hike and rock climb, but I lack equipment for both
i have a high end PC and a PS3, and I'm going back and forth on getting saints row 3, but i dont have quite enough time for games as i used to so i have a lot on the backburner
i have a bluray player so movies are cool, but dont have a ton of stuff in mind to watch at the moment, so i guess consult people who would know me best? good bets are dubh, beasteh and marshmallow and most folks in the gloss thread

As for a little background on things I like:
-I have a pstriple, and a 360. I only have a little macbook pro so I can't really play any PC games.
-I wear a size medium and am always in need of new clothes.
-I just moved across the country! New place means a new chance to stay organized. If you wanna get me some organizational stuff like shelves or something for my closet I'd like that.
-I like books! But I don't have a lot. I'm currently reading through A Song of Ice and Fire and wanna get some sci-fi stuff to balance it out. If you know any really good sci-fi books (I heard "Ready Player One" is really good) I'd love to get some!
-My new place is also really bare. I could use some stuff to decorate it! Posters, art, whatever is nice.
-I like music but I have a tiny library compared to most people. If you know some good music and wanna help me expand my audio horizons, feel free!

I've got a ps3, 360, and wii but other than Uncharted 2 I don't need much in the way of video games, to be honest. I do want to start picking up some blurays now that I have a ps3. Currently I've been enjoying Hot Fuzz, Blazing Saddles, and Blackadder, I'd love to find something like those that I haven't watched. My big hobby has always been Warhammer and Warhammer type things, I'm looking at starting Dark Eldar and Necrons, though I have the codex for both armies I can use anything from either range (except mandrakes). I read a lot of comics, though aside from the trades in my wish list I'm all caught up on what I'm reading. I'm always looking for stuff from Stuart Immonen, Rick Remender, and Jeff Parker, I've read nearly all their Marvel works, and I'd love to find new titles similar to their oeuvre. Here's my Amazon wish list in the event you need some inspiration.

I know nobody wants to hear this, but I would really rather be surprised! I included an amazon wishlist in the e-mail I sent, but I don't want you to feel like you have to get me something from it. It should provide a nice guideline though! I have all the major video game systems and a decent gaming computer, so if you want to get me something video game related, that'd be cool! I also really dig comic books, yet I haven't been able to buy as many comics as I'd have liked to recently. So that'd be nice too! I also wear shirts in size L. In clothing I'm a size small in shirts usually and a 32 x 30 in pants. I am pretty sure I would like a tablet of some sort! Be it ipad or android or something else. But that's if you're looking to burn money. If you're stretched on cash I am totally fine with something from Steam, I've really been itching to play Return to Castle Wolfenstein. It doesn't matter what you get as long as you have fun with it as well! If you do need help ask Pharezon or the Bug Boy/Butler For Life brothers. They will suggest cool things I'll never think of. Oh! One last thing. If you've got a cool job like secret agent candy eater; I'd love to work for you!
