Our new Indie Games subforum is now open for business in G&T. Go and check it out, you might land a code for a free game. If you're developing an indie game and want to post about it, follow these directions. If you don't, he'll break your legs! Hahaha! Seriously though.
Our rules have been updated and given their own forum. Go and look at them! They are nice, and there may be new ones that you didn't know about! Hooray for rules! Hooray for The System! Hooray for Conforming!

Some of us have kids, or are about to have them. Share your stories of adorable or supremely annoying things they have done. You can also post pictures if the mods are ok with it, no camwhoring yourself as a baby though, I don't wanna see your ugly mug.

Can having a slightly indirect relationship with a child count for this thread?

One time I was playing with my Godson, and he ran into a room where a modern art portrait of me my sister had done for school hung, and he ran out saying "It's a monster, it's scary!"

    Yes that is excellent

The kid does not need to be yours

Though don't make this thread about bitching about how you just can't stand parents who don't know how to control their womb droppings

My friends are always bringing their kids down to my place and it's always fantastic fun. One of my friends' kids used to be quite sedentary, introverted and to be honest just big wusses. Now that they've been down to the farm a few times, we're always on a mission trying to get them to come inside for dinner. They're out riding motorbikes, fishing, feeding the animals and climbing trees. Basically doing fun stuff that kids ought to do. It makes me warm and fuzzy inside being part of getting them out of their shells

Look, sometimes I browse the forums in just my boxers. And now you have me looking at pictures of underage kids.

This is not a case of this isn't what it looks like. This is exactly what it looks like.

It's awesome. Fetta cheese is traditionally made with goat's milk I think.

I'm looking forward to having kids at some point.

For now though, I enjoy my two younger cousins whom I rarely see but have fun with.

I was about to talk about my younger cousins and it occured to me that the eldest is 19 now.

Good god. I remember babysitting him while he laughed like a mad thing at Monty Python

Reminds me when I met one of HB's aunts. She couldn't believe she was 20 already, remembering the day she heard about the birth and telling all her 10 year old brothers and sisters who are now 30.

I still shudder when I recall talking with my brother's 9 year old step-son. We were playing Pokemon, and I was telling him about Red and Blue and when I first got them. And it hit me. He wasn't even born when they came out. I quietly walked out of the room and sat on the couch for a while after we finished our game.

I was over visiting my 4 year old cousin last weekend.

He was in the bath when I arrived, he ran into the sitting room and said 'hey everybody I'm naked' while laughing like crazy. Then he started to roll all over the ground laughing continuously and repeating that he was naked

My eldest cousin (that's younger than me) just turned 21

She's only 2 years younger than me but I've always thought of her as being like 6 years younger minimum

So are pillow pets a good present for infants? I figure the ability to lay down on a toy makes them a good dual function gift.

I got a zebra for one neice and the tyranosaurus for the other.

Fuck that weird ladybug one. Creepy as shit.
