I want to get a new game, but nothing out is worth 60 fucking dollars.
This is why I love Ebay and CheapAssGamer. I got a brand new copy of Wartech: Senko no Ronde a few weeks ago for $33 shipped, which is pretty much what that game is really worth.
What's next, are you gonna compare Zatch Bell to Gears of War?
I am allowed to compare anything to anything in this forum except Hitler.
no you're not
comparing naruto to gears of war is against the rules
Yes Sir, thank you Sir.
Things Naruto:Rise of the Ninja and Crackdown have in common:
Cell Shading
Open World/Sandbox environment
Ability to Climb buildings and look around see something far away and go there.
Male main character
Online aspect that involves actual gameplay. (Though different in both games)
Really good screen shots shown in Play Magazine

Is a 360 a good investment? Should I wait to buy one until the elite comes out?
I have heard that the problem is overheating and if you just keep them ventilated they won't break... I don't know if I buy this.
Well the elite has been out for a while. At this point I say go for it. Yes, the hardware is shit and there is a higher than normal chance yours may die. I have had mine for over a year and it died for 3 days the first week I had it, then it came back to life and has been working 100% fine ever since. Though plenty of people have theirs die and really get it in the ass when their replacement dies too.
Even with all this bad news, if there are games you want for it, get it. I am very happy with the purchase because there are a lot of games out I like and many more coming.
Also of course you should keep it well ventilated, but I wouldn't go nuts. If it is going to die, it is going to die, doesn't matter if it is horizontal, vertical, with a fan blowing on it, elevated, not elevated.

I've heard that the Elites don't fix any of the breakage issues. The only difference is that it's black and has a bigger HDD.
I think I am going to buy Overlord tonight, I enjoyed the demo some
What say you
Do it, the EB Games my girlfriend works at says they were shipped today but won't be in until tomorrow. That's what Best Buy said as well.
So if you find one, share where you got it from.
I WAS gonna get it from the local Gamestop tonight since I have two friends that work there and never minded selling to me early, but I just found out that one got fired over the weekend for 'gross negligence' and the other is (obviously) toeing a very straight and narrow line
So Overlord tomorrow I guess. Which is okay since it leaves me a chance to think on whether I want the 360 or the PC version. Leaning toward 360 just 'cause of Live and the fact that my sound system is hooked to it and not (correctly anyway) to the PC
(edit) Is it weird that I kinda want Forza 2 just for the car decal editor? I mean, I suck at racing games and don't have any interest in them at all except for Motorstorm, which rocks

I wish Naruto360 was a fighting game. I'd smack fools online with Hinata.
Maybe the Naruto game for the Wii will be online..

It is a fighting game as well as a platformer and an action RPG. Also the fighting aspect of it can go online.

ooohh. :-)
Anyone have the 120GB harddrive? Is it simple to transfer data from an old HD to it?
I'm pretty sure you can't do it easily unless you hook it up to a PC and totally hacking it by gleaming the cube or something.
No you can. I forget the way it works but Microsoft made a cable you can use to transfer all your stuff from one HDD to another. I think it comes with the 120 GB HDD if you buy it separately and you can order it from them online if you get an elite. Though I may have that backwards.

Thanks, I was thinking about getting an 120 tomarrow, though I still have about 10GB left on my original Harddrive. I don't bother with MP3s or videos, just Game saves, DLC and Arcade games.
Yeah, no real need for the bigger HDD unless you're buying movies and TV shows for your 360, which is pretty dumb, why would you do that?
Well for TV shows it would make sense but not for movies because you are renting them. And most people aren't going to rent more than one movie at a time.
Also about it being dumb, the movie service I think is very convenient. You don't have to leave your house, it isn't that expensive, and depending on your internet connection you can be watching the movie 5 minutes after you buy it.

one is fucking stupid while the other is not

Also one is out and one is not.
And you are right, whatever is killing the regular ones is still doing it to the Elites.
i'm guessing it's nosferatu
well, I completed number 3 or possibly 4 when a friend left it at my house, and had a good time
The Budokai games were fun and did a pretty good job of capturing the essence of the show.
I just don't like when Naruto fans try to claim its somehow any better than DBZ.

And the DBZ fighting games are awesome.

Not exactly reason enough for me to get one. Are people really filling up their hard drives that fast, or are they just trying to compete with Sony?

20 gigs is fine. I have a ridiculous amount of games and still have 9.9 gigs left.
The extra space in the new HD is for their future plans for Live, what with their video marketplace and that streaming TV thing.
Also, hey, I'll totally do the next thread.
I'll even nerd it up with pictures and other shit.

i love old sonic games so much

starring michael cera of arrested development fame, with many arrested development cameos
they also have a website where you can stream the episodes but just dowload them because the quality is better and you can watch it on tv
I'm going to predict an announcement about another Playstation-only third party series going multiplatform.
Steam: YOU FACE JARAXXUS| Twitch.tv: CainLoveless
True.
RAIJINQ
Why bother? You're like never on and when you are you play guitar hero.
That's not true at all!
