So, here is my plan: on the little note, they said they will attempt to deliver it again tomorrow. They will once again not find me home, because I will once again be at work. They will, though, leave another note, telling me when they will attempt their final delivery. If the final delivery attempt will be on Saturday (though I don't think it will be, since I don't think they deliver on weekends), then all is well, because I'll be home all day then. I'm also off from work next week, and will probably be home most of it, so really, any day they list will probably work for me; I might reschedule the final attempt for some other day, we'll see.
TL;DR: UPS tried to deliver a package from what I can only assume is my Secret Sentry. They missed me because I was at work. I'll be at work again tomorrow, so they'll miss me again when they try to deliver it tomorrow. They will definitely not miss me when they try to deliver it for the third time, though, whenever that is. Worry not, Secret Sentry, I won't let this gift slip through my fingers!

As for SHIELD, I used to read that book on the monthly, *cough* without buying it *cough* and I had no clue what the hell it was about issue to issue, so getting this trade is amazing, and now I can finally read the volume 2 issues that I have been buying and letting stack up on my desk.
BUT SENTRY, I COULDN'T FIND YOUR NAME ANYWHERE ON THE PACKAGING! THANK YOU WHOEVER YOU MAY BE!

Not to disappoint you, but the follow up to Newuniversal probably won't see the light of day. Ellis had a hard drive crash after the first two issues of vol. 2 came out and lost everything, and no work on it has been done since then. The only other work that's been done on it is the Newuniversal: 1959 one-shot by Kieron Gillen.

Thanks, Wickedkarma! All of these presents are super-awesome and very exciting and/or made of chocolate! I'm especially interested in Monster Zoo (because I've been meaning to check out more of Doug TenNapel's stuff [I've read Iron West before]. I heard good things about Creature Tech; have you read it? Also, have you ever seen Sockbaby? It's also a Doug TenNapel creation, and is weird as fuck) and Maintenance (which looks really interesting). You totally knocked this out of the park, and I'm really looking forward to reading all this stuff!
