since modernism is about progress and postmodernism is about reinventing the past, it follows that post post modernism would be about stagnation
See, the way I see it Modernism is about crunching numbers, Postmodernism is about justifying inane shit, and postpostmodernism is about throwing the needless pretentiousness out the window and creating art that is artistically driven instead of academically driven...
no
no it isn't
Maybe I've just had shitty shitty professors who were modernists and postmodernists, and one awesome professor who was like "Fuck them all. Losers. I like to focus on writing good music and not making snootypants mcbritish happy with my critical detachment shit", and so I've been jaded against modernism and postmodernism.

Post post modernism is about pretending you know what you're talking about.

oh, so you just made everything up so you could feel unique and better than every artist in the past seventy years
Cruise control right now. Working full time so my sister can finish up her Radiology Pre-req's, then I'm switchin to Part time so I can get my Pre-req's out of the way for nursing.
If your week is shitty, just think "Well, I could be the only case of polio in this hemisphere this year, that would be worse." Then maybe you'll be happy you don't have polio.

okay
That's right, I took the advice of my Professor to... feel unique?
You're damn right, though, that I'm going to try to be unique better than all artists in the past. If not, then what the hell is the point? If I'm going to be writing music I'd better supply something that they didn't or I might as well get the hell out of the field. If I'm going to just try to be "another" Xenakis or Schoenberg or Part or, hell, fucking Von Bingen then I'll fail, because I won't ever be as good at being what past artists are as the past artists. Sure, I respect what Xenakis does. I like listening to Ferneyhough, and Ligeti, Adams, they're half of my music library. That doesn't mean that I want to do what they're doing. If it did, then I'd be better off as a performer, not a composer.

that makes me pretty happy
Slowly trying to re-assemble my life out of all the boxes, and getting everything registered/transferred, ect.
However, having the pressure of the move itself off my shoulders is a huge relief.

Sorry wook, but it would have never worked out between us.
ain't no way to get good by doing that and going "HA I AM DOING THIS BECAUSE I WANT TO, NO REASON OTHER THAN THAT"
