I understand that we can't choose when accidents occur, shit will happen at any time. But seriously, if it's after midnight, avoid activities that could set off the building fire alarm. I should not ne standing around outside in the middle of January because some drunken idiot overcooked his popcorn. Fuck this shit.

Also, if a firealarm goes off in the middle of the night in January, have the sense of mind to put on more than boxers and a tshirt. You idiots are gonna catch frostbite.

Dammit, I was in the middle of The Hunted. I wannabe get back to Benicio and Tommy!

It finally snowed yesterday

Like, it snowed twice before yesterday, but yesterday was the first time all winter that it actually stuck to the ground and roads and accumulated inches

Firemen finally checked the building and let us back in. Probably 7-10 minutes of being outside (it takes awhile to phone type when it's cold). Not too bad a response time.

This has nothing to do with the cold but I am gonna just put this here cause it is a thread. I am house/dog sitting with my girlfriend and two of the dogs are these weird little yappy assholes and they've been okay for the most part. Just creepy, staring at you all the time. They just started fighting though, so we separated them. They like sleeping on the bed though so we let the other one back in. Tried to pick one up to move him and the other one bit me.

It didn't do any damage but it still hurt a bit and god I hate tiny dogs

Don't really have any use for a fixed blade, but I could do with a new multitool. My Gerber Crucial has a decent blade, but the Phillips head on it is completely useless.

I have a friend that took survival training from the dude Tommy Lee Jones is based on, he's the one that first showed The Hunted to me.

This winter's been superb so far. Only slipped below -15C like once or twice and it immediately made up for that by snowing a ton.

In my first year undergrad we had a record 52 fire alarms during the night. On two occasions we had 3 in the same night. Assholes thought it was funny to pull the alarms.
