Our new Indie Games subforum is now open for business in G&T. Go and check it out, you might land a code for a free game. If you're developing an indie game and want to post about it, follow these directions. If you don't, he'll break your legs! Hahaha! Seriously though.
Our rules have been updated and given their own forum. Go and look at them! They are nice, and there may be new ones that you didn't know about! Hooray for rules! Hooray for The System! Hooray for Conforming!
I'm off to a LAN with some of my friends this weekend, however there's only 4 of us and competative games tend to get a bit ugly, so I'm really wondering what kinda co-op games are there out on the PC that all 4 of us can play either around 1 PC, or 4 PCs via Lan/internet.
At the moment System Shock 2 is kinda ruled out as we've done that before. We enjoyed Alien:Swarm a lot, and like games like Swat: 4. I've got R6:Vegas penciled in, but I really can't think of much else that's come out. Is Monster Madness: Battle of Suburbia worth picking up even just for a couple of hours gameplay? And are there any ways of legally getting some old classic arcade games, such as TMNT, or Gauntlet (Curse you xboxlivearcade!).
Alternatively are there any 4 player competative games that are outside the usual FPS and RTS crowd, e.g bomberman, or something like Settlers of Catan.
Any suggestions at all appreciated really.
edit: there's probably going to be an internet connection.
