This guy

He's got style parodies

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5VuiBBX6aZA

And polka medlies

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xO9jAfY8fbU

And parody parodies

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qscadsLdvV0

And awesome stuff

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1765UzjAQxI

Also he makes fun of pop songs too, that's pretty cool.

Also something about kick ass music videos that you'll have to go to YouTube and sit through 30 seconds of advertising to see.

Also he had a TV show and a movie which are largely considered by all critics everywhere to be... y'know what fuck critics.

And he probably has his own postage stamp and his face on a form of currency in a foreign country, I'm sure.

Point is, there ought to be at least ten threads worth of people professing their undying love to him every second on this forum alone.

The mods might be cross about that though so we'll start with this one. Get to professin'.

Weird Al is great. I don't think I've heard a song of his I disliked. That is quite a feat considering the raw product he works with.

Needs more "Everything You Know Is Wrong" in here though.

When I was younger, going into highschool, people use to say I look like Weird Al. Which I didn't mind, I use to listen to his music all the fucking time.

Then I stopped. Not on purpose, it just happened. And then people started to say I look like Howard Stern I guess.

Last Weird Al song I listened to was his parody of the Lady Googoo song. And it was awesome.

I love Weird Al with all my heart and I cannot wait for the day when he returns to Earth to bring his followers to heaven

but oh my god, I rewatched UHF a week ago and it was the single most horrible thing I had ever seen in my life

Also I always loved Headline News but I think I might just love it for its brilliant use of kazoos

dare to be stupid is my favorite song of his for obvious reasons
but, you know what, i'm going to show how well weird al does his job. consider the devo vids NSFW, spoiler tagged for the uninterested.
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SMhwddNQSWQ&ob=av3e
towards the very beginning of the video, where the band is in radsuits with green lighting and a white floor is JUST LIKE the Devo vid for Satisfaction. the guitarist even has a toaster attached to his guitar, which has a payoff later. Weird Al is wearing goggles, which Mark Mothersbaugh wore in Satisfaction and Freedom of Choice the flipping man at 0:41 of Dare to be Stupid is also a reference to a later part of Satisfaction, which has the performer "Spazz Attack" flip himself on his back and then pop back up to continue dancing
the cowboy at 0:53 is a general reference to the Whip It video which everyone already knows god damn it
the black and white video clips that start at 0:58 are a reference to the video in the Devo vid Beautiful World at 1:30, the band is posed like Devo in their short video for Devo Corporate Anthem, itself a reference to Rollerball
    devo_corporate_anthem.jpg
the togas at 1:33 are a reference to Freedom Of Choice, which had a line referring to Roman Philosophers the stop motion in general could be seen as a reference to Freedom of Choice, which has some as well
2:30 is yet another Freedom of Choice reference, a man who has to choose between a banana and an accordion. in the original video, a man had to choose between a gun and a grenade, and a woman between a couple of other things.
the line "mashed potatos can be your friends" is likely a reference to the fact that Devo calls their fans Spuds. the Mr. Potato Heads in the video at 3:05 could be a continuation of that.
the stockings worn over the heads of the band members at 3:11 are a reference to Jocko Homo's music video
    http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x195lt_devo-jocko-homo_music
The lines to the song itself are filled with pop culture, which Devo itself satirized. there's a reason that Mark Mothersbaugh, frontman for Devo, said that Dare to be Stupid was the greatest Devo song.

Oh man, I've probably heard the Weird Al parodies before the original songs. I heard "Smells like Nirvana" so many times before finally hearing "Smells like Teen Spirit" once I was so confused as to why there was no cow mooing or the singer gargling water.

I kept wondering "So when does the mumbling start and words start happening?"

So I have seen questlove hanging out with Weird Al, Stephen Colbert, and Karmin covers. He has been on an episode of Yo Gabba Gabba.

He seems, just maybe like the coolest guy ever to have lived.
