    I love that girl with the little red shoes;
    She spends my money and drinks my booze;
    She don't have a cherry but that's not a sin;
    cause she still has the box the cherry came in.

    What is this from. It is annoying me. Argh.

    No, but I am getting an army of undocumented workers to come in and clean the room from top to bottom, and I am getting new furniture delivered and built for me the day he is gone.

    Who ever thought of using the letter M to measure things??

    Meters use m not M.

    Not sure M is actually used for anything, apart from mega but that is a prefix so it doesn't count.
    Mass, Mass Effect reminded me of physics, we always used Big M for Mass.

    oh duh! Mass.

    But that is only the sign used when calculating right? Mass uses Kg as its SI unit.

    Otherwise length would use little L

    yeah, but isn't Mass not a unit of measurement but a variable?

    M as a variable is mass, M as a unit is Molarity.

    Participating in some sort of large shared living arrangement seems to be widely accepted as a good way to start university, so far as meeting new people goes anyway. It probably wouldn't be as comfortable or nice as living in the places you are looking at, but you can always do that a few months later on. All my friends who flatted first year, or lived at home kind of regretted doing so for that particular reason, noting of course it usually saved them a lot of money staying at home or the like

    Yeah that's not out of the question at all

    I strongly recommend it. I think about at least half of my good friends are still people I met in that first year, when I stayed at a first year hostel.

    You are getting mixed up, a is used for acceleration but the unit is m/s^2. a is just a sign for use in calculations.

    Same with M for mass. Though mass can use little m as well, sometime to differentiate between two different masses in the same formula.

    Like one of Newton's laws is often written F= G (M*m)/r^2

    Doesn't mean the distance is measured in r

    yeah, but isn't Mass not a unit of measurement but a variable?

    M as a variable is mass, M as a unit is Molarity.

    m as a variable is mass. M as a variable is a second, larger mass (as in calculating gravity). M as a unit is indeed molarity, and m as a unit is meters.

    Went to CVS Pharmacy. Saw a shelf full of unsold Valentine's Day knick-knacks and candies marked half-off and IT PISSED ME OFF ROYALLY! A pharmacy selling candies is so wrong and out of place but thy didn't stop there; they have two shelves full of Easter candies and chocolate rabbits.

    Consumerism is rampant. Everything preys on the customer's lack of willpower. My blood is boiling.

    I am going downtown to the rodeo and I plan to eat so much BBQ. A whole cow's worth of beef and a whole field's worth of baked beans. I can't decide whether or not wearing my cowboy hat would make me look like a douche.

    It's just chocolate. It's not like it's bad in moderation. Like Cough Syrup.

    I'm much angrier about the homeopathic remedies they sell in pharmacies.

    Wut. I've never even seen a pharmacy that doesn't do this.
