It's only one of the best comedies if you like the humor of the show. It's my favorite show on air right now, but all of my friends hate it along with Parks and Rec.
The type of humor seems to be very splitting.
As you said you like it, you get a pass. But all of your friends sound like awful people.

How I Met Your Mother is an amazing enough show that I stopped noticing the laugh track after awhile. Usually it drives me insane.
Also, we watch 2 Broke Girls here buuuut I don't think I like it. I can't really decide. Sometimes it is kind of funny but then the delivery can be awful. It's definitely a show I wouldn't watch if my wife didn't want to watch it.
I will die and never understand how anybody enjoys Big Bang Theory.

How I Met Your Mother is a great show
and yeah I don't even notice the laugh track anymore
Big Bang Theory is a lot of nerdbait, but for 22 minutes of DVR'd television you could do alot worse. Like Two and a Half Men.
Two Broke Girls has kinda fallen into this weird trap (or maybe I just noticed it) where every episode is the same. Max and Caroline need to do a thing, something happens to make them mad at each other, then they get back together at the end. Also, Max makes fun of hipsters at one point. But mainly I watch for Kat Dennings. She's pretty.
HIMYM is glorious. Barney learning to drive will always be one of my favorite scenes on television ever.
Happy Endings has gotten really good. I loved Elisha Cuthbert's glee over the pranks they pulled during their sleepover. "That's what you get for falling asleep first! Suck a million."

humor overall though. Not everyone finds the same thing funny.
