It's just, if you put me in a situation where I have to chose who to save, and Kay ends up having to roll a new character because I saved the kids, I'll be inconsolable for, like 5 minutes.

Sooo.
I could have sworn the angels at the start of the game mentioned Erathis.
I assume that no-one even remembers the names of the gods now? Azael certainly remembers the name of Sehananine, but she has an excuse due to her religious/arcane order.
I can't spell the moon-goddess' name because it is so tricksy.

Do I need to make any fancy rolls to help teach the girl, or should I just start with a few words and off-screen it?
I'd prefer rolls. Probably Arcana? If you want, describe to me what you want to start with here, and I'll tell you the DC, or you can just do it IC and have me figure it out post-hoc.

I was just thinking helping her understand the mechanics behind casting spells and learning a basic spell or two.
Oh hell. Just understanding how magic works is like, an easy Arcana/History check. If you want to teach her how to, say, fire a Magic Missile though, and for her to get it right on the first shot... Arcana DC 20. Make DC 15, and she gets something working. -5 to the DC if you're trying for something simpler, like Light. +2 to your roll if you can RP this well, in some way that explains how magic works in this world (... cuz I don't really know either :P) at my discretion.

BTW, let me know when you're tired of the RP. I know, I know, it's going a little slow. It's hard to sit and RP up shit when my writing skills are required elsewhere. Takes just a bit more brainpower than executing a monster's turn.

Yeah, Lyssa's just talking about stuff that I, as a player, am a little unclear on. As far as I'm aware, Lyssa hears things that tell her the gods are returning, but she's all unclear herself now that the REAL gods have returned, so she's pigeonholed the Stars as heralds of the gods' return, because that fits in with them being not evil, right? Right?!?
