I have a laptop bag but if I had a smaller lap top I would probably just get a cover and throw it in my messenger bag. It is very useful.

In college, I just threw my laptop in a sleeve, then put it in my backpack. It was fine. I always made sure it was on the outside if there were big books in there. With the MacBook Air that I have now, I'd probably skip the sleeve and just toss it in there. This thing is tough as hell on top of weighing nothing.

    i'm so confused!

    You can do this.

    I believe in you.

    no, i... i'm not ready.

But Chu, this is life. And in life you need to carry shit around. You've finally come to the point when you have to carry more shit than would be comfortable without the aid of some stuff carrying device. As I said before, it's natural to think you're not ready... nobody does. but pause here for a moment and consider all the stuff that you have. Realize that you've been building up to this moment for your entire life. Every second spent reading reviews on amazon, or checking out the daily deals on new egg, or even the sale paper for the local JC Penny... was preparing you for this moment. Soon you will buy some stuff to put your other stuff in and, in putting your stuff in that other stuff, you will finally be a man.

I, for one, will be a proud forumer that day.

That entirely depends on what is in the bag with it, and how padded the bottom is.

If the macbook air hist the corner right onto the hard floor/pavement, and there isn't any bottom cushioning (or enough), you can crack the glass. from the sideways stress.

If your bag will get jostled because you will be running places with it (late to class, etc), then you want more protection.

Just a basic zippered hardcase that you can toss into the messenger bag will ensure its survival.

This is the pseudo-confirmation I got for the part I just ordered.
This confirmation is sent automatically and does not mean eibmarkt.com GmbH accept your order. It only shows that we have received your order by electronic mail. We will check your order and deal with it. We would like to thank you for your confidence. Visit us again soon.
