It's a lot of money, that's why I'll be surprised if they do anything with the ending.
If they change it, the amount of work will be huge.
If they expand on it, depending on what they do it could fall flat or cost a lot of time and effort.

with it being DLC there's things they can do to mitigate costs, like they don't need programmers (unless they need to patch to support changing the ending)
So they might be able to do some things cheaper.

but voice actors open a can of worms and expenses. there's a reason your henchmen would rarely if ever talk in previous DLC.

If they do anything beyond saying what you got is what there is for the ending, they REALLY want to make people happy.

Krogan Soldier, ignoring the attack powers, is worse than Krogan Sentinel. Adrenaline Rush is temporary and fully leveled up, doesn't offer what Tech Armor does. Purging Tech Armor, if specced right, turns Krogans into bad-ass bombs on legs.

I got the Geth assault rifle in the Victory pack.

No Commendation pack yet though. Hopefully they're just delayed, because man, I chewed through a good half dozen Silver Reapers on Friday/Saturday.

I've been having an issue lately regarding the Widow / Black Widow and the Armour Piercing Mod: a few days ago, I was noticing a substantial increase in the amount of damage I could do to Armoured targets, but now I'm not. In fact, I'm seeing reduced damage to Armoured targets, and a reduced ability to punch through cover. When I remove the Armour Piercing Mod, I've noticed a return to the kinds of damage / piercing capability I had before. Not sure why. I think the mod's bugged right now with weapons that have a natural piercing ability, basically.

I see. Either way, it's hard for me to find something better than the M-77 Paladin. I got it early on. Good god it's spoiled me.

Didn't get anything particularly exciting from my victory pack, just another level on my Incisor. Hopefully the commendation packs appear soon, unless they already have and ME3 managed to not notice any of the several silver reaper extractions I was a part of.

I'm curious if this rumor will ever be substantiated. Will one (or some) of the writers come out and say: "Yo guys, I'm sorry, I pulled a George Lucas. Here's a real ending."

That said, I think this game is awesome and fantastic so far! I haven't gotten to the ending yet. (Love the multiplayer too)

Well, I actually thought it came from someone other than the lead writers. I believe it, but I shouldn't have used the word 'substantiated' I should have said publicized.

I'm just wondering if Bioware has anything to gain from making a statement to this effect. Would fans be appeased by engagement? "Hey guys, look on the bright side, at least we didn't let William C. Dietz write the ending!"

Finally able to put some real face time into the single player. Well, whatever the huge controversy surrounding the game has evolved to, so far when the game is on, it's on.

I didn't get a victory pack (even though I beat multiple silver reapers over the course of the weekend).

I also didn't receive any of the Kingodm of Amular bonuses. And the two codes for the two weapons for my pre-purchase arrived via e-mail 4 days ago. I didn't know e-mail took 10 days to arrive. I guess I'm just not with the times.

Premium Vet pack is nice, still no N7 pack though.

Just can't make soldier work for me, it's so mediocre compared to the other classes. I'll just put up with being N7118 until I unlock Krogan.

Yep.

Awesome... so the Victory pack showed up but not the commendation pack, even though i beat silver reapers several times...

Although apparently 'alot of people' got the commendation pack and its taking 'longer than expected' to roll it out... not sure how something like that gets delayed, thought it would've been a simple 'yes/no' switch but hey, i don't make games so what do i know.

Victory pack gave me a Carnifex... which is pretty great, because the game has seriously been fucking with me over handing out weapons. Just constant character unlocks and every upgrade for sniper rifles that I never use.

Now, I *know* I've seen some of those before. And, I have to say, I really wish people could see my character names. Krogan soldier: Pinkie Pie; Turian Sentinel: Dr. Whooves; Asari Adept (notorious warp-bomber): Twilight Sparkle (okay okay, technically Twilight Sparkl...hit the letter limit). Basically, all my characters are Pony themed.
