Our new Indie Games subforum is now open for business in G&T. Go and check it out, you might land a code for a free game. If you're developing an indie game and want to post about it, follow these directions. If you don't, he'll break your legs! Hahaha! Seriously though.
Our rules have been updated and given their own forum. Go and look at them! They are nice, and there may be new ones that you didn't know about! Hooray for rules! Hooray for The System! Hooray for Conforming!

Perhaps you should dress up like a kitten, Mojo

If there is one thing I have learned from going to Reddit, it is that people adopt kittens like a sailor adopts the clap

    Haaaaps :)

There's new patches coming out for SWTOR soon, so maybe that's a good excuse to start playing again. Me for me I'm playing Guild Wars more now.

Hi Aldo! Well, I'm still paying for SWToR and I'm pretty sure I want to play it again sometime, but not right now. Maybe in a few weeks, new patch and all.

Hmm, so how about a kitten with clap? Would that get him adopted by a sailor?

I don't think he's nearly Thai enough to pull that off

Matroska files are officially my favorite file format.

MakeMKV ripping my box set discs in lossless quality to them, with all the neat extra track features intact, is awesome (and makes owning Blu-Rays of things bearable).

And what's inside your container? MPEG?

Why would owning Blu-Rays be otherwise unbearable?

No idea why the search function for iphone youtube is totally different from the on-site one. The app search never shows the same results and is totally worthless.

MPEG-2 for my DVDs, AVC for my Blu-Ray rips. It's lossless conversion so it's really just repackaging the streams into something more usable.

Because I don't have a Blu-Ray drive in my desktop, hate loading disks, and the various Blu-Ray player software is a combination of terribad and clunky. I'd greatly prefer to pay for something to rip them, then pay for a player - since VLC is great.

I wonder if my car has enough petrol left to get the petrol station? Guess I'll find out in just over an hour. Luckily it's mostly downhill, so the car should just coast most of the way...
