She wanted the status change so she would feel better about going out to do things with her friends without me there. She was feeling really guilty any time she was having fun without me. And I'm of the mind that hey, you want to go to wine tastings or something with your friends, go. I wouldn't enjoy it anyway. Have a blast. We'll do our own thing another time.
Also gave in to me on everything, all the time, which was nice at first but my ideas aren't always the best. If you'd rather do something else then put your foot down.
Also she's a single mom, and the kids were getting attached to me, and while actually official BF/GF that was fine because hey who knows what will happen, but I'm not down being fuckbuddies when the kids know me.
So it was just hey, you're a great person, and it's been nice, and wish you the best, but this isn't working.
