Gettin mad at people's music opinions is just the dumbest thing. Like for them not being into a band you like or whatever. You can't choose what music moves you.

So I bought Gorillaz, Demon Days, and Plastic Beach as they were released, but I haven't bought the latest one, The Fall, nor have I bought any of the supplementary albums like G-Sides and D-Sides...what should I pick up that I'm missing?
I like some Silver Mt Zion. Some of it I can't listen to. Didn't realize it was a Godspeed side project though.
Do any of you guys like This Will Destroy You? Their first two albums are really great but the third one is pretty heavy on the post and kind of light on the rock.

well all of those have a handful of decent tracks on them but unless you're a serious obsessive, you can probably live without most of them. Hong Kong is a track on d-sides that you should definitely have in any case, it's very pretty. Revolving Doors is the best track on The Fall.
I started listening to GY!BE in sixth grade. I am the hipsterest.
Biggest hipster moment of my life (on a ratio of worry to pop cultural irrelevance) was worrying that Explosions making it onto Friday Night Lights and Conan OBrien in 2006 would ruin post-rock. And then I was half right because a lot of mediocre bands cropped up, but it was okay because a lot of good post-rock still exists.
Speaking of which, Mono is the best thing to come out of Japan in a while. Saw them live. Most noise ever for being only a four person group. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zAleQ79UlT8
(Best crescendo ever at 7:35)
Disclaimer: above use of hipster is me being snarky.

No it was not. Just people who yell at other people for not liking their favorite band or whatever
