Our new Indie Games subforum is now open for business in G&T. Go and check it out, you might land a code for a free game. If you're developing an indie game and want to post about it, follow these directions. If you don't, he'll break your legs! Hahaha! Seriously though.
Our rules have been updated and given their own forum. Go and look at them! They are nice, and there may be new ones that you didn't know about! Hooray for rules! Hooray for The System! Hooray for Conforming!

Avengers Assemble! Avengers 2 should be Avengers vs. Godzilla.

Wait late to the party, but, I hate DC/Gaiman death.

I have an ex who used to exclusively cosplay as her. It didn't end well.

Yeah...I was young, I didn't know any better, all the cool kids were doing it...

did she actually look the part

Yes, terribly so. Fairly pale, jet black hair to her waist (and it was like hair-metal hair, really big hair), tall, slender and curvy.

...I miss the hell out of that girl, until I remember how absolutely batshit she was.

Hey man. It's okay. Just remind yourself that if she weren't totally fucking bonkers then why would she have even dated you?

    It'll make you feel better.

i just mean his later work is a bit pretentious and tries too hard

it seems like he ran out of ideas in about 2002 and ever since then he's been running on fumes

Norway, and yeah. You can't sell imitation firearms that shoot stuff to minors here, which catches up the Nerf guns too. It sounds silly but it's just one of those things, you know?

    sure but like

what else has he actually written in the last ten years

i feel the same way about moffat, he had a whole series of really interesting ideas but then he seemed to run out? so now he just recycles the same general concepts and hopes no-one notices

it's a pity because in each case their earlier work was fantastic

    Coraline
    1602
    Eternals
Whatever Happened to the Caped Crusader
    Anansi Boys
    Wednesday Comics

these are all good things he has written since 2002

and since then he has focused mostly on Children's Literature of which we are not really the target audience

i suppose he's written a bunch of screenplays and children's books and things

also an episode of the simpsons apparently

maybe i just have this idea in my head because he had one really great decade and then one pretty reasonable decade
