I brought my 3DS but between all the family visits, nurse checkups, learning to breastfeed and general exhaustion from 30 hours of labor (good luck sleeping when your wife doubles over in pain for 30-45 secs every 8-10 minutes), I barely touched it. YMMV.

Skippy I think you need to be more worried about stretching before the delivery. I suggest eating a large meal the day before to stretch your stomach good.
