You only need to worry about the self-identifying ones, people who proudly wear the moniker "Shipper" on their sleeve as they sail their ship deep into oblivion. Most people will ship in some form or another but for them it's just idle speculation about intercharacter relationships rather than something that defines them as a person and causes them to react as if stabbed by any evidence contrary to their chosen ship.

Well, the latter category(and not the former) are generally the ones that the moniker "Shipper" adheres to.
What,s really weird is that no one seemed to care when she was just a sketch, but add some colour and all hell breaks loose… :P
Also, because she was placed into a picture with Mako, who was blushing, which naturally necessitates that each particular shipper camp arm themselves and prepare for all-out warfare.

Mako chin cannot show betray is cool exterior for anyone but Korra sama!
I have a podcast now. It's about video games and anime!Find it here.
Amon is going to be a brainwashed street urchin from the northern water tribe.
FACT: brainwashing exists
FACT: Amon's backstory is simplistic
FA- oh I don't even care
To be fair, she did impale him, his subordinate officer, and the body housing the soul of of an eight-year-old and was doing her damnedest to kill his girlfriend.

Well spoken. I couldn't agree more!
But yeah, emnmnme, that's not a woman, it's an immortal demon.
And that music, dear god it's so good. This is why FMA:B is awesome, right here.

That's not helping my opinion! :P
If it makes you feel better, it's not a woman, it's a monster.
The fucked up part is where he says, "Looks like I can get you on your knees after all."
Does that mean something else in context?
It's a reference to something the character said earlier when Mustang attacked her and essentially failed to do any real damage.
Her name is Lust, and she pretty much plays the part as she's essentially an incarnation of that particular member of the Seven Deadly Sins, so yeah, what she says often has some double entendres in it.

Only heard whispers. Teams were mentioned at one point.
But yeah, I guess they could get pretty bad too from time to time.

Anime is fucked up.
To be fair, she did impale him, his subordinate officer, and the body housing the soul of of an eight-year-old and was doing her damnedest to kill his girlfriend.
Context is important here.

You should, it's fantastic.
Yeah. The start is kind of meh since it's just recapping for a dozen or so episodes when the last branched off.
But then it goes its own way and dear Jesus.
Fucked up things in media aren't limited to anime. Over the last few years both Marvel & DC have gotten extremely vicious with their brutality.
Twice.
Well, the second was only an attempt I guess.
The fucked up part is where he says, "Looks like I can get you on your knees after all."

If by "last few years", you mean "ever since Watchmen", sure.
In the main lines, though, not imprints like Vertigo or Max.
Cry For Justice. Rise of Arsenal. Bleargh.

Yeah, this. Monk Gyatso's corpse, anybody? That was messed up for a kid's show.
Kyle Rayner's girlfriend was dismembered and stuffed in a refrigerator in 1994. It's been going on for a long time.
Isn't the twist in M. Nights Shubniggurath's The Village?

Of course, let's be honest, anime manages to beat the two of them pretty easily, even ignoring Gantz (which should always be one's policy):

To be fair, that's still a horror show. It can't possibly be that bad in light comedy, right?
Never mind.
