    I will admit that I am waiting for the post to get a little more context on this one (although it does bring back some 1986 NES excitebike flashbacks)

    Trials Evolution is kinda-sorta Excitebike with a physics engine. If you completely fall over and have to reset your bike, you get a demerit, so there is much incentive to try and make impossible recoveries from impossible-to-recover situations.
