I don't particularly like it but I trust the Giants to draft well.

Giants fans should have trust in their front office at this point.

I'm looking at Scott Pioli a little cross eyed, but I'm gonna have faith.

I'm happy the Bucs got a capable DB and an all-purpose RB in the first round.

I hope their plan now is to go for the best LB available.

The Chargers did what they needed to do, so I'm fine with it.

    Crennel on Poe.
"Because he played every down at 350 pounds and he played every position along the line in the game. He's playing a 9-technique, he's playing a 7-technique, 5-technique, 3-technique, 1-technique, 2-technique and head up on the nose sometimes. He's a jack-of-all-trades so it's hard to be good at any one thing when you're doing all those things. As a result of it, what they did was try to let him use his ability. They ran some stunts, they ran him up the field. They did some things with him against spread offenses where the ball is coming out pretty quick and he wasn't able to have the production that everyone wants him to have right away. I think when we get him here and get him in one spot we'll see this guy improve and he'll be productive and be a good player."

    Alright. I'm cool with that.

I trust Crennel to get those most out of the guy.

I'm alright with Perry. Was hoping for McClellan, but hell, the last time we got an OLB from USC it worked out pretty well.

He's a pretty great cover safety who is regarded as a between the hashes monster

The hope is that they'll stop giving up those stupid big passes across the middle to TEs

Feel a lot better about the Poe pick after hearing Pioli talk about it.

They had him rated as the top nose in the draft prior to the combine.

I thought Pioli was going to wet himself during his press conference he was so excited about the pick.

They passed on two opportunities to trade down too.

edit: and jesus, Crennel looked like he could barely breathe he was so excited.

You gotta love the balls on a guy who will just stand pat and take the guy he wants, instead of playing the "draft pick value" game.

"As of right now, I have an unlimited amount of motivation because of what I've been hearing through the press," Poe said. "It will motivate me more. But to say that it will be the ultimate factor in me trying to rip someone's head off because of the draft, you know, I was planning on doing that anyway."

    Like this kid.

Browns have put Colt McCoy on the block and the Packers are interested in acquiring him to upgrade their backup situation.

Browns fans should be happier than they seem to be. Who knows if Weeden will work out but McCoy isn't anyone's future and Weeden is twice the athlete.

Being upset is just the default Browns fan mode.

I think Cleveland was the best place for Weeden.

Who is everyone most surprised didn't get drafter in the first round?

For me it's probably Stephen Hill.

Let's see if he goes here.
