We can also talk about the best team in the AFC West.

The Kansas City Chiefs.

The Broncos may have Peyton Manning, but the Chiefs have Jamaal Charles.

Rumor has it that Jamaal Charles will play all positions on both sides of the ball next season.

Jamaal Charles ended my chances of winning my fantasy league last season

He sent out a ham to everyone who had him in fantasy last year. I guess you just never got yours.

He also attached a lovely card, expressing how sorry he was.

And how you should draft him again next season because he will be the offensive and defensive player of the year.

Bucs finish with a CB, another RB, and a FB.

I hope they can find a TE in free agency.

Giants had a very Giantsy draft. I scratch my head at some of the picks, they don't seem to address some of their needs, but in the end it all ends up working out ok.

There still time left, but I figured someone would spend a 7th on Kellen Moore.

That guy is going to be a coach if not a player.

Does Washington have a pick left? Maybe they'll take him.

I am kind of surprised the Chiefs got two WRs in the draft.

The Giants actually did address their needs. They replaced Jacobs and Manningham, got a fill-in for Ballard/Beckum, grabbed OTs because McKenzie is gone and Beatty is often injured, then grabbed a DT because he was the best player available.

Kind of an east coast bias to Jerry's picks. Of all their picks, LSU was the furthest west.

  • XehalusXehalus Registered User regular
I wonder how many of the players picked were in the SEC, though.

Only 2 from SEC schools, Xeh

Alabama players did well for themselves.

4 in the top 25, Roll Tide.

Vontaze Burfict signed by the Bengals, entirely without surprise.

i'm pretty surprised, actually, as i thought he was a shoo-in for the steelers

kellen moore went to the lions

case keenum went to houston, which i'm sure is pretty cool for him

  • satansfingerssatansfingers Registered User regular
kinda tough though because they already have a developmental type guy who proved himself last year in tj yates

Houston is a good fit for Keenum in a lot of ways.

So, which team did the worst in the draft?

A lot of places are saying the Seahawks did awful in the draft.

Jax kinda stunk it up with that third round pick. Also can't believe John Brantley and Deonte Thompson both signed contracts with the Ravens. Crazy.

    Loved KC's draft.

It's funny reading the "draft experts" pan the Poe pick after they mocked him to them before the draft

Jeff Allen was an awesome pick. Will play guard, can play left or right tackle as well. Stephenson was probably a bit of a reach, but can play both tackle positions. Wylie, if he can stay healthy, gives us a slot receiver after the wheels fall off Breaston. Menzie was a starting corner on the best defense in the nation, and can play safety as well. Gray gives us insurance in case Hillis sucks it up. Not sure who Jerome Long is. Hemingway was good value in the 7th.

Would have liked to have a quarterback, but after Cousins went there wasn't anyone better than Stanzi on the board.

There's also a silly rumor floating around that Miami is changing blocking schemes and Jake Long could be on his way out.

I guess I'm a vikings fan by default now since they drafted both Childs and Wright.

That's gotta be insane. Those two have grown up together since the third grade and played on the same team since high school, then get drafted by the same team in the same round.

he'll be gone for the season in week 15 after a Bernard Pollard drive-by shooting

Man, a bunch of my guys got drafted by teams I don't give a shit about. I hate it when that happens. And one of them went to the fucking Patriots.

    Ugh!

Anytime a player I like goes to either the Patriots or one of the NFC East rivals I shed a single tear.

Every time the Titans draft a wide receiver, I cry a little bit. I think I'm out of tears now.
