It is pretty stupid how the AI in an A class car can get stuck behind a D class car.
It doesn't always happen, but if he catches the slower car at just the right place it will happen.

A class transit van is just fucking stupid, I might need to scale it back to B.

The Venom GT is a great car, provided I never shift it out of 5th gear.

The fortwo is OK, but nothing Hyabusa-level in its shenanigans.

Also, if you want stupidty, set up an 11 AI, S class Kaido run with full damage. There wasn't a single car that could even make it up the hill.

I haven't laughed as hard as I did tonight in a long time. We need more soccer nights.

you'll see it in the video but I was actually dispointed in the punt since only Eclibull touched him and no one else was anywhere near him at the time. The other hits though, oh my god I'm still lol'ing.

You know, we still have a while before the Porsche pack is released, which means we're still a ways off from the second SBC season. So, anybody interested in running a second mini-SBC?

I was thinking of maybe something like a 1965 and prior setup? And since that leaves you with a collection of US, UK, and Italian cars (plus one German), maybe a team based deal? Bring those up to B-class, and stick to the shorter or more technical courses, and it could be pretty fun. The car list would look something like this:

    1956 Jaguar D-Type (UK)
    1958 Aston Martin DBR1 (UK)
    1961 Jaguar E-type S1 (UK)
1964 Aston Martin DB5 Vantage (UK)
    1965 Austin-Healey 3000 MKIII (UK)

    1957 Ferrari 250 California (IT)
1957 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa (IT)
    1957 Maserati 300 S (IT)
    1964 Ferrari 250 GTO (IT)
1965 Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GTA Stradale (IT)

    1957 Ford Thunderbird (US)
    1960 Chevrolet Corvette (US)
1964 Chevrolet Impala SS 409 (US)
    1964 Ford Fairlane Thunderbolt (US)
1965 Ford Mustang GT Coupe (US)
    1965 Pontiac GTO (US)

(I didn't include the Gullwing, Bel Air, or Eldorado)

    Anyone interested?

I'd obviously be in, since I have all those cars, and most are B (hell, I ran the '57 Cali in the last miniseries). I have the Healey at C right now, but would probably take that just for something different.

I probably wouldn't be in the next mini-SBC. I've got a lot going on in the next few weeks and might not be able to make it.

I'm really wishing I would have painted the back of my Dino, seeing that pic above, haha. I remember the Jeep swerving right, the the van moving left, and then I was off the road. I didn't even know really who/what actually hit me.

That pic is my next desktop background, btw, Bast.

edit: I never even noticed Eclibull's van had the CRZ stickers. Well played.

I tried to come up with something creative for the van and scrapped every attempt I made, so I figured "Well, I have my CZR stickers... might as well take the easy way out and Crew Van this thing" (it also has Targa and SBC "CV" stickers).

I am sad that Maple Valley video didn't end with a clip of my Transit managing to go end over end and LAUNCH itself ten feet into the air off a curb after the front Forza Wing caught it. We may have all flipped on that race, but I did it with style and a high degree of difficulty. And then Justin also flipped and managed to land right next to me too.

Edit: Also, I love the start of the Smart video clearly shows Bast stall his Transit right in front of me for the hundredth time.

Glad to see some people interested, as my wife was giving me odd looks as I was doing the car list last night. :)

Anyway, since nothing seems to be planned for this evening, maybe wd can firm up details and muck around with the cars?

I'd like C class. Tire restrictions were fun, too.

I've never actually done any drifting in Forza before (unless you count the Transit) and unsurprisingly noone in the PA club or on my friends list has attempted the monthly drift challenge on Fujimi. So I figured "what the hell" and spent 5 minutes with this tuning guide and gave it a go.

Currently I have a score of 36,025 and am ranked 694th (out of how many I dont know).

So I challenge all of you to beat me.

There are 16 cars in your selection, so I'd say limit it to one car per person and each country is their own team

its complete bullshit that the monthly rivals event with 4000lbs+ trucks and suv drag racing allows AWD.

that said my turbo-diesel Transit still does 20 second half miles 8-)

Yeah, it's 3 mil. Maybe 3.5. It's a very good car that I would have snapped up if I hadn't wanted to try something else this series, very nice balance of speed/handling.

Also, I guess I will be the first one to call in for team UK with the Austin-Healey. Are we doing B class or C? I have the 3000 MKIII at C right now, but I can throw a B setup together as well.
