Our new Indie Games subforum is now open for business in G&T. Go and check it out, you might land a code for a free game. If you're developing an indie game and want to post about it,
follow these directions. If you don't, he'll break your legs! Hahaha! Seriously though.
Our rules have been updated and given
their own forum. Go and look at them! They are nice, and there may be new ones that you didn't know about! Hooray for rules! Hooray for The System! Hooray for Conforming!

Gah! Now it's just a string of random characters with .gif after it! IT FINALLY HAPPENED
A) I just plain prefer the buttons
B) I get rough with those games
C) I am ridiculously obsessive about not scuffing my DS screens. Screen protectors are all garbage
Yeah yeah I corrected it.
While Phantom Hourglass is nowhere near as bad as Spirit Tracks,
Remembering it still makes me furrow my brow and wonder who thought that game was a good idea.
but it's just not fun
it's just not any fun at all
it is the one console zelda i've missed and people keep telling me it is the best one
can you get it on wii? is there a way to do that
yeah, it's on the virtual console, and do it
it's fucking great
yeah that DS sequel wasn't even close to as good
sold
whomp a brotha
Do it, and keep us posted on your progress.
It is probably my favorite Zelda.
Like, there are so many little stories to be told in that game, it is great how much they threw in there.
I must have played it 20 times.
nah
nah
*crawls into cabinet and closes door*
nah
boy, it showed
Ronnie, for every 5 minutes the whomp remains undelivered I will throw out a perfectly good churro. Can you sit idle while that happens? Could you stand the guilt?
"Wait, you need this other thing? Why doesn't it just come with the game?"
"I don't know mom, but I need it or I can't play it."
"That's such a scam!"
"No it isn't, Mom"
I want to say that it came with the expansion pak packaged in, but I'm not sure
hell the only games that I know used that thing were perfect dark and starcraft 64
good ol DK64
maybe i should do a let's play
never done a let's play, always kinda wanted to
do i have the time though? hmmm
i suppose if i have the time to play video games i have the time to do a let's play
i go through your trash anyway
you use too many paper towels
use a rag, save the earth
donkey kong 64
The only time i enjoy a let's play is when the guy/gal doing it is really funny to listen to. Most LPers aren't.
I don't remember asking for one and I sure as hell didn't have any money to buy it in like, seventh grade, or whatever
and I never owned donkey kong 64...
it didn't come bundled in the US apparently
also this is kind of neat
Man, Perfect Dark multiplayer was a lot of fun.
And now I'm remembering rad N64 games.
Like Jet Force Gemini.
Never finished that game, and now I suddenly have the urge to correct that.
That's the only reason I'd do one (which I do want to do one) but I don't think I'm very funny just talking, especially by myself
The second one had a pretty great moment right at 10 minutes.
You wha-?! Wait, the uh...you haven't been eating any of that 'roast beef' have you?
You uh, you might want to get tested.
just hysterically goddamn funny
(en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dunning-Kruger_effect)
I just looked at that to see if I was right (I wasn't) and yeah, that's neat
also now I remember turok 2, the game nintendo power suckered me into buying (it fucking suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuucked)
Quest 64 costed me $80 after I had to buy a controller pak with it. (didn't most games save to cart?)
That said, man... it was such a short game. I was desperate for an RPG on the N64 after coming from the SNES that had the most amazing collection of RPGs.
It was fun, but there simply wasn't much of it. It seemed like it was for kids, and didn't help that the hero looked like he was 7 years old.
Because I owned zero other games that needed it and I didn't ask for it separately
Oh right, you're the guy who does that comic, right? I forgot that you changed your avatar. Yeah, you might do okay at LPs. I mean, I odn't know that your sense of humor will carry over into video game commentary, but you'd probably be amusing to listen to.
I've never even started a Zelda.
