Well now, I bought Everbody's Golf: World Tour second hand on Monday and it took It took many, many hours to patch.
If I waited a couple of days I could have avoided all that and got the DLC bundled in as well. Not too happy about that.
Anyway, Everybody's Golf is great.
Besides that, the Dragon's Dogma demo and The Walking Dead game both look interesting.
I can't recommend the Fifa Euro 2012 DLC however, it's a pretty half-hearted effort.
Regarding the full game trials - I assume I'll be able to use the saves from the trials if I decide to purchase the game? My girlfriend is a huuuuuge Sly Cooper fan, and I recently purchased a PS3, so she wants to check out the HD versions before I pull the trigger on it.
Going to have to put some money aside - I want Hot Shots Golf - the game is really hard to find around here to the point I bought an old Tiger Woods game just to get a golf fix. Also probably pick up Rayman next month and maybe Disney Universe for my son and I to coop on. Good stuff all around.

Yeah, saves will work fine. Any trophies earned before you buy it will work too.
But the Sly ports are pretty fantastic, so I wouldn't really worry too much about them. Retail copies should be pretty cheap at this point.
Mortal Kombat (Digital and GameCard) – After centuries of Mortal Kombat, Emperor Shao Kahn has finally defeated Raiden and his allies. Faced with extinction, Raiden has one last chance to save Earthrealm. To undo the Emperor’s victory, he must strike Shao Kahn where he is vulnerable…the Past.
Driven by an all new graphics engine, the fan favorite series is back and presented in more gory detail than ever before. Mortal Kombat (known as Mortal Kombat 9 by the fans) introduces a number of game-play features including tag team and the deepest story mode of any fighting game. Players can choose from an extensive lineup of the game’s iconic warriors and challenge their friends in traditional 1 vs. 1 matches, or take on several new game modes.

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 – The Bad Company crew again find themselves in the heart of the action, where they must use every weapon and vehicle at their disposal to survive. The action unfolds with unprecedented intensity, introducing a level of fervor to vehicular warfare never before experienced in a modern warfare action game.
Call of Duty: Black Ops w/ First Strike DLC – Hear the call of duty once again with this seventh entry in this blockbuster first-person shooter franchise. Call of Duty: Black Ops takes you deep behind enemy lines into the world of deniable operations as a member of an elite special forces unit engaging in covert warfare, classified operations, and explosive conflicts across the globe. With access to a variety of exclusive weaponry and equipment, your actions will tip the balance during the most dangerous time period mankind has ever known.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 w/ Stimulus Package – Return to today’s war front with the second chapter in the Modern Warfare series. Modern Warfare 2 continues the gripping and heart-racing action as players face off against a new threat dedicated to bringing the world to the brink of collapse. Playing as as Sgt. Gary “Roach” Sanderson, your international squad of elite soldiers battle through harrowing combat scenarios that range from snowy mountaintops in Siberia to the crowded streets of Rio de Janiero, Brazil and beyond, facing a terrorist force hellbent on redefining the boundary lines of today’s modern warfare.
Awesomenauts – Awesomenauts features the most awesome mercenaries in the galaxy in their fight for territorial supremacy. Awesomenauts brings Space frogs with mohawks, giant robots, and lots of other mighty aliens to the two-dimensional console battlefield. Combining classic platforming-action with modern online multiplayer functionality, the action-packed gameplay offers everything the 16-bit generation and modern gamers love.
Disney Universe – Disney Universe a fast-paced multiplayer action adventure game. In the game, players will experience non-stop action through a mix-up of worlds inspired by both animated and live action films from Disney.
Doc Clock: The Toasted Sandwich of Time – Lead kooky inventor Doc Clock and his contemptuous robot, Sack, on their first awesome adventure through time to save Doc’s beloved cat from a prickly fate. Test your creative ability by devising ingenious inventions to overcome improbable obstacles. Then push your piloting skills to the limit as you attempt to steer your crazy contraptions through an insane world of spiky pits, icy chasms and erupting volcanoes, all dominated by technophobic hippy robots.

Floating Cloud God Saves The Pilgrims
PSone Classics
Legend of Dragoon – A peaceful beginning. The legend was born 10,000 years ago. A violent uprising. A civilization of flying creatures enslave the human race. A bloody war. In a bid for freedom, the humans harness the spiritual forces of Dragons and triumph. Tranquility and harmony exist between all. But the past and the future are about to collide… Unveil a fantasy of magnificence, deception, magical combat and retribution. The journey that seeks the past ends. And the journey to discover today begins. Unleash the spirit of the Dragoons. And discover your destiny.
PlayStation 2 Classics
Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne – Remedy, the developers of the original Max Payne title have joined forces with Rockstar Games to create the dark and gritty sequel Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne for PlayStation 2, Xbox and PC. The bullet-time fight sequences that made the first title famous are back, and are more stylish than ever. A revamped physics engine and detailed interactive environments turn slow-motion shootout levels into breathtaking cinematic experiences. Rockstar Games has ensured the production values in this tragic film-noir love story are top notch, complete with movie quality voice acting, motion capture, and roller-coaster storyline.
Rayman 2: Revolution – Ubisoft’s personable and popular cartoon hero is back and more ambitious than ever in the PlayStation 2-exclusive re-imagining, Rayman 2: Revolution. Now in full 3D and blending humor, suspense, and blinding speed, Rayman must escape an intergalactic zoo by using the powers of his still-imprisoned friends to open the door to an even greater power to free them. Unique to the PS2 version of the game are a number of brand new stages, a harder difficulty level, and a progressive upgrade system that gives Rayman a number of abilities not found in other iterations.
So, hot damn. @Ah_Pook (Hope that actually works and, like, lets him know) will be glad to know that Floating Cloud God Saves the Pilgrims is at least listed to come out this week, so with any luck, it actually will. Alongside it are the oft-asked for Legend of Dragon, Max Payne 2, Rayman 2 (because fuck it, we all like some PS2 games with 2's, etc.) and some nice demos, including one for Sumioni, finally.
I was excited to read "Legend of..." under PSOne Classics thinking "Finally! Legend of Legaia!". Then my dreams were horribly crushed yet again when I saw Dragoon.

Apparently DTP entertainment, the publisher of Awesomenauts has filed for insolvency, leaving Aweomenauts kind of up in the air... interesting.

the games out, if you want it nows the time to get it. digital games like that typically dont have long shelf lives, in terms of being able to find games and such.
Love me some SRPG action, but there's something about this game that seems off-putting... Maybe it's the big skill "cinematic" animations, the voice acting... Not sure I can put my finger on it. I'll still probably get it, though.
EDIT: Also, I see a lot of comments both on the youtube page and on the blog of people asking for this game to be on Vita. I thought the PSVita could play PSN downloaded games like the PSP?
theres a quicklook, to give you an idea. its a side scrolling MOBA, basically. if you like DOTA or what have you its probably worth checking out. it looks competent.

No, you can't play PS3 games on the Vita. It's nowhere near powerful enough.
So, got a PS3 now. What's good on the store? I bought The Sly Cooper HD thing at retail before I plugged the thing in and saw it on sale for half the price I paid for it. So I don't need that. :P

If you didn't play it on 360; Castlevania Harmony of Despair. Old school Castlevania is always a winner in my book. If you have Move, get House of the Dead Overkill.

I have a slight problem.
When I try to play a Ps1 or Ps2 game without the upscaler turned on I get.. This sort of thing on my screen, except green. http://youtu.be/2sB3rULnAWY

So, hot damn. @Ah_Pook (Hope that actually works and, like, lets him know) will be glad to know that Floating Cloud God Saves the Pilgrims is at least listed to come out this week, so with any luck, it actually will. Alongside it are the oft-asked for Legend of Dragon, Max Payne 2, Rayman 2 (because fuck it, we all like some PS2 games with 2's, etc.) and some nice demos, including one for Sumioni, finally.

the games out, if you want it nows the time to get it. digital games like that typically dont have long shelf lives, in terms of being able to find games and such.

Steam: TheArcadeBear
No, you can't play PS3 games on the Vita. It's nowhere near powerful enough.
Also:
Flower
Wipeout HD
PixelJunk Shooter 1+2
PixelJunk Monsters
PixelJunk Eden
Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath HD
Rochard
Critter Crunch
Shatter
There's more but those are my favourites.
Journey is now on the list.
If you didn't play it on 360; Castlevania Harmony of Despair. Old school Castlevania is always a winner in my book. If you have Move, get House of the Dead Overkill.

He's referring to the PAL PSN. All the PS All-Stars Battle Royale related franchises (on the PS3) are on sale.
Wizardry and Persona 3 FES (!) from the US store.
And Journey from the PAL store.
I have $40 left.

When I try to play a Ps1 or Ps2 game without the upscaler turned on I get.. This sort of thing on my screen, except green.

Is this something to be concerned about?
