Playing Combat Girl and upgrading the 2 base skills and the cats is waaaaaay more fun than I thought it would be. Before, I was putting all my points into HADOKEN!, but throwing down 4 kittybots and healing while moving them around is more fun, and more beneficial to my team.

A lot of folks (including me) stand by the "glass cannon" skill system, which is for instance on assault, levelling up TNT>Offense>NOTHING(to save the point for level 4)>TNT and Offense> Fly > Fly > NOTHING > Tnt and Offense> Defense > whatever
I always skip 3 and 7 unless I'm losing badly and need defense...
I'm not sure what a good skill buying guide is for CG, maybe maybe just crank up Beam and Kitties?
if you learn good placement, I've seen some devastating kitty/fortify focused CGs.
I prefer offense/laser for full team carrying/lane pushing power.
I used to take the 2nd kitty at level one, but now I wait until 4/5 so I have it just in time for the first anni.
speaking of carrying teams, the matchmaking has apparently decided once again that I am skilled enough to carry a team of 0 and 15+ feeders against a full team of good players. fucking 4 games in a row of this shit. in 25 years of gaming, never have I been so close to standing up and smashing my keyboard into a billion fucking pieces on the wall.
I wonder if they're going to be just releasing patches on Wednesdays from now on.
When I think about it, the patches seem to get up on Steam faster on Wednesday. It makes sense when you consider that TF2 and Dota 2 are updating on Thursdays along with some other games.
Teaming up with people you know seems like it would be much less frustrating. There was a team of a assassin and a megabeth that destroyed me three games in a row. I think I'd like to do that. Not good enough yet though.
I bet two full teams of people you know who are good would be the best.

So was there anything to that Destructoid stream aside from watching a terrible Gunner get totally ruined to the point that he was like five levels behind at one point?
I mean, it said there was going to be some manner of "surprise", but I got bored watching it really fucking quick.

I wouldn't mind seeing an archer of some type. Otherwise I feel like it's going to be kind of hard to make this head shot capable pro feel different from the existing two.
They are constantly tuning it ever since it was released. What do you think is wrong with it?
I've had far more one sided roll games since they introduced matchmaking since when it was completely random =0
That aside my main beef now is that west coasters are too stupid to play on the west coast server. I go to play, east coast server? 2500 people, west? 3. And i ping 60 to west and 160 to east so ..yeah. at that point i say fuck it and go back to LoL
Ive had a lot more even fights in the last 2-3 weeks.
Even when I was on the losing side most of the team, we fought our way to victory. It was a tough road, but in the end when we won, i enjoyed making fun of the enemy team and sending them to loser town.

Just played a game where at one point it was 5v1, 1 person crashed and the other 3 just left. The dude that crashed came back, but it was pretty much over. To their credit they still tried.

We hold off the enemy team for the next 18 minutes as a 4v5, even pushing hard enough to hit their rocket turrets, but it just wasn't enough.
That's the most disheartened I've ever gotten over a leaver.

Well Leo was certainly not a regular defender, so I'll wait and see.
Technically, the only defining characteristic of a sharpshooter is that it can register head shots. That leaves quite a bit of breathing room.

as for nobody queueing in west, I agree that it's a shame
supposedly multiple region queueing is going to be reimplemented soon, but we'll see

I think they did that because people kept creating threads for trades preemptively, and rather than delete them they made a place to move them to.
