While I agree its possible the SK has more power there, we might also learn something about him?

"Me pa used to always say that knowing was half the battle, eh gov?"

And mine said drinking wouldn't kill him but he died in a bar fight. So do we have some sort of list of who voted who from last night?

Same here, I still say we should check out the Study because that's where they always hide stuff.

Ladies and Gentlemen, may I have your attention please? I'd like to test out a theory, so I'd like us all to move as quickly as possible to the attic, if you'd be so kind.

Also, I think baidol is right about heading upstairs, but we need to think about how the house effects everyone. There is obviously a ghost sk, the previous owner of the mansion. There are maybe rooms where he is more powerful. His bedroom seems like it could be one of those places.

And I know I was just advocating that it's a little too easy to be afraid of Langly, but this is kinda nagging me. The ghost SK part seems probable, but how do you just assume it's the previous owner of the mansion? I guess it makes sense, but to automatically make that mental leap is kinda suspicious to me. And as always I'm wary of when people talk about mechanics when we don't really know how they work.

Well I was taking cues from the narration
He carried a pipe, puffing long wisps of pungent smoke as he moved from room to room. He had on a crisp, firm smoking jacket. He liked them fitted but not too tight so as to show that his physique wasn’t what it used to be. Indeed, nothing about him was what it used to be. Gone were the days of adventure and expedition, visiting distant, exotic lands, and courting all manner of fine, intriguing women.
No one had any idea what the night would bring, but the idea of the manor belonging to one of them was on everyone’s mind. It would have been more than enough to settle on such an enormous plot of land as Edinburgh’s, but the manor itself was worth a fortune. If not for the beautifully crafted mansion itself, then certainly for the treasures rumoured to be inside. Priceless original works of art, rare jewels, and exotic, mysterious artifacts were just some of the things the townspeople whispered about on their way to the party.

I don't think it's that big of a leap that the man who died in the mansion is the ghost sk.

As for discussing mechanics, we don't know anything yet. They might just influence the narrations in where everything is situated. But if they do have a mechanical nature, then we don't need to think (as other people were talking about) about just where the mafia is described as being, we also need to think how it might effect the ghost.

Don't ask me, I'm just following the only confirmed villager we have right now.

And Langly, like I said it made sense when I thought about it, I just wouldn't have automatically made the connection. You're probably just smarter than me. :P

I don't like arbitary votes. The more someone makes it seem like they're not really thinking about it, the more I suspect they're just trying to hide their motives.

The Study seems like a good place to go. In a horror movie, you find out about the haunted house in the library/study.

I'm not sure who to vote for just yet.

well the case could be made that bedlam (or myself, if I'm being honest) makes sense as a vote because we were close to Tayrun. Since Tayrun came up neutral, though, and since there were three of us, it makes parsing that list harder.

I didn't say there weren't legitimate reasons to think Bedlam could be a vote target, I just thought her vote post came off kinda suspicious the way she presented it.
