Wasn't there some issue with this a while back? Something about people getting keylogged and the person using the authenticator code within the 1 minute window it was active for or something? It might've just been hyperbole or exaggeration, but I definitely remember it being 'a thing' for a while like a year or two ago.
Either way, I've never considered the authenticator impervious to attack. More like a condom or a kevlar vest; an extra layer of protection on top of the other layers in place (decent password, active anti-virus, etc, etc, etc).
I want one, but where are the D3 themed ones? Why just SC2 and WoW?

I can only imagine the person who mails these things out mutters about being surprised some people manage to dress themselves in the morning without breaking a bone.
Seems like a job you'd end up convinced in a higher power, because natural selection would've weeded us out long ago otherwise.
There will be something similar to the Starcraft 2 starter edition, no traditional demo though.
I'd bet on a later date. They probably don't feel like they need the lite version right away.
I agree. They will be content to make money hand over fist for the first month or two, and then once things cool down they will dangle the free trials to hook the uninitiated and/or uncertain.
I was wondering the exact same thing. I went with the SC2 version.
They'll probably get Diablo ones in sometime after launch. I'm not sure but I don't think the SC2 ones showed up on the store till after the game was out, did they?

Lame, my account got hacked (pretty sure) and I didn't get a free one.
edit: Oh yeah, I forgot to mention. I kept getting obvious scam emails to the address I had registered originally. I changed my Bnet email and changed passwords on everything to make sure it doesn't happen again. And I still get those dumb emails. I guess they just can't figure it out?

I think the ONLY thing that's been anywhere was a $10 off on Newegg a month ago. Besides that, I haven't seen a thing. And there doesn't really need to be any bonus, we finally get Diablo 3! Basically it's worth the $60 just for that.

If you have a friend with an active character, what you can do is ask them to send you a Scroll of resurrection. It gives you free 7 days of gametime with no CC required.
Then you can just login and set everything up back to normal.

I guess that much is true. I have other things to pass time and plenty of future time/effort to give to Blizzard. No reason to start now with something that isn't D3.
