I doubt they will allow you to transfer items between hardcore and softcore, part of the point is not being able to twink your hardcore character out with gear from softcore.

Monk is assassin mixed with paladin

Witch Doctor is necro mixed with druid

But both the monk and the witch doctor are unique and different from their forebears in many ways and should not be dismissed because you weren't a fan of their predecessors

D3 barb is about 500000x more fun than d2 barb IMO
I never could enjoy the "plain attack enemies to death" style of barb in normal difficulty

The discussion on Page 100 of the last thread made me think of a good question: Do you think Blizz is going to take requests for character restorations for perma-deaths in Hardcore? Kind of like how you can get items restored in WoW after hacking/deletion or traded between raiders in the event of a mistake or a ninja. Maybe have some way to tell if said hardcore player lagged out or something before being beat to death against their will?
