You know what, this is fucking awesome, because I was just having a chat with a friend about what kind of an interface a wearable HUD should use. I mentioned something like this and he dismissed it because he figured you'd have to wear electrodes all over your head.

This isn't even touching the head.

Everything on Apostrophe was musical genius.

Not to mention the title track.

This isn't even touching the head.

It's also only moving a pair of ears in fairly simple patterns (and with no regards towards accuracy). The more accuracy you need, the closer the sensory mechanism needs to be to the source (to the point where some highly advanced mind/machine interfaces need to stick electrodes into your brain). This might chance in the future if we develop light-weight low-interference high-precision remote 3D brain imaging technology.

Say what you will about Stirling, this is pretty much the only example of dubstep I've been able to stomach.

After Folk metal it was inevitable.

I do not enjoy the cavorting violin girl

also that ron paul video was clearly the same crowd of people following him to every state and rally

the same crowd of crazy, crazy people

I worked with a guy who was both a Ron Paul supporter and an objectivist. I have never been so tired of hearing someone's voice.

Also we were talking about MCR in the giant bomb thread and it reminded me of how good they are. Also how crazy Grant Morrison is.

I have nothing against the cavorting violin girl for one video

But when she's trying to make it into like, an entire ongoing series of cavortingly violin-ing, it's just dumb

  • FiendishrabbitFiendishrabbit Registered User regular
From her moves she's a trained dancer. Possibly ballet or something which incorperates balletmoves.
I'm suspecting some sort of school of the preforming arts from a fairly young age.
    They get weird after that.

The only thing distinctive about that isn't even the dubstep part.

Also because we've seen her videos posted here quite a few times before

They're always just sort of the same thing.

Our reaction is not a shitstorm, we don't care enough to even actively dislike her.

Same as with any kind of music genre, movie choice, etc; if you don't like it, don't watch it. And no one's a bad person for saying they don't like it either, nor is someone wrong for liking it.

Just... damn. Maybe if I keep up my lifting I'll be able to match his weight loss, but the fact that he was injured too tops anything I could do.

I think you could achieve that by just holding certain pieces of chalk somewhat loose

Marty: The future, it's where you're going?
Doc: That's right, twenty five years into the future. I've always dreamed on seeing the future, looking beyond my years, seeing the progress of mankind. I'll also be able to see who wins the next twenty-five world series.

ah! I've figured it out. notice how he holds the chalk, it's making an obtuse angle with the board, and he's holding the very end of it. take a pencil and hold it like he does, and run it along your desk.

I really hate dubstep, yet this is not offensive to my ears. That's pretty distinct!
