evil M, I think you've answered this before, but are you at all interested in Persona 4 Arena

i haven't looked into it very deeply, but a) it looks like a marvel-style long combos, high damage output game, which is not my cup of tea, and b) i never played persona games since they look like they have a lot of weeaboo high school dating sim shit that is absolutely intolerable

    so no

there are some people in the SE++ fighting game thread who are interested though
    ah, okay

I have almost no idea about the nuances of fighting games, but I have never been able to really grasp the combo stuff. I will probably rent it, though

also, the weaboo high school dating sim stuff is not nearly as bad as it sounds.

In my college I think it's a relatively even split with regards to where tuition comes from (There are more arts students but science degrees cost significantly more) however most funding at a masters/phd level comes from external bodies so that doesn't really matter.

My friends are playing 'hardcore' pokemon. You are only allowed to catch the first pokemon you find in an area (if you kill it you are screwed for that area). If a pokemon dies it is dead forever, now allowed to res it. No items outside of combat. Some other situplations.

    I worry about my friends.

I absolutely loved the Avengers but
Killing Coulson was totally in keeping with Whedon's MO. Coulson was absolutely the Wash of the movie (and also completely expendable due to being a movie-exclusive character).

    Yeah, strictly speaking
apart from the line "He's gone", there's not much definitive evidence that Coulson did die. Bad shape, certainly, but some expensive and timely medical intervention could work wonders in the comic world.

Some people love it, to be fair. I think that's it's overpriced for a burger that is on-par with Sit down restaurant burger prices without the tableside service. But pricing and quality YMMV
