I'm sure the Dark Knight Rises will be great and all, but the trailer for it before the Avengers didn't rouse my interest nearly as much.

I remarked to my dad in the theater "You know, they're running out of verbs to pair with 'the Dark Knight'."

It wasn't the most exciting trailer ever. Still going to go and see it at the flicks, though.

Aye, for sure. I am also looking forward to Magneto: Nazi Hunting Badass, or whatever they end up doing with X-Men: First Class 2.

    Me too.

I'm kind of embarrassed that I kinda liked the look of the new Snow White film. Will probably end up getting it on LoveFilm or something.

I think this lady was dead serious just now when she said, "Let's get a couple containers going, establish a buying history, get an agreement and get you to China."

I ... Am intrigued by the idea of being point man if the Chinese market takes off. Who knows if my employer would actually want me hopping oceans.

Damn china is a good market for hooch and cigarettes right now.

It's a lot of good looking men, yes, but in lady terms I feel you've not got much of a case.

A little Scarlet Johannson and Gwyneth Paltrow goes a long way.

Gwyneth Paltrow isn't really bringing world class sexy to the picture. ScarJo, unquestionably, and Maria Hill looked mighty fine, but they need something else. Maybe the Wasp, played by someone like Kate Beckinsdale.

I'm really eh about the idea of Beckinsdale as Wasp. I get the feeling with her in the role it would be come something like Black Widow but with better fashion sense.

    That's the one, Brave.

I remember a trailer ages ago that showed promise, but this was a longer one rambling about the first child of each family and it just floundered unimpressively for a few minutes.

its funny because now the GOP is scrambling to stop the funding cuts because some of it might fall on the military

Government spending only creates jobs when it can be used to kill people. Preferrably brown people. Or at the very least off-white.

Well, yeah, 'girl power' is a silly label and rooted in wafer thin Spice Girls empowerment nonsense, but there's a danger in dismissing anything with a decently developed female character as 'girl power'. I trust Pixar to make Brave a good movie, and not to foist some retarded cliches on us and call it a message.

The Infinity Gauntlet is part of a set of Marvel plotlines loosely categorized as "Cosmic Marvel" - it includes stuff like Silver Surfer, some of the Fantastic Four's shenanigans, a lot of time travel and aliens and godlike powers from beyond the universe.

It all sounds really stupid at first but somehow a lot of it actually turns out okay in the execution.
