Do they ever use "Cristo" to reveal a demon other than that one airplane episode? Ever since then, it's all just, "Oh here, have a drink...of HOLY WATER."
Don't think so.
It's probably for the best, though, since with so many demon antagonists throughout the show it'd trivialize having to find them.
When, say, you take a group of folks and discover that ONE of them is possessed, it makes things a lot less tense and interesting when you can flush them out of hiding just by uttering one word.
Holy shit, I completely forgot about that thing during the (s5 spoiler)
War episode.
I'm pretty sure that plane episode was just straight up ignored outside of the "Djinn Consequences of your Inaction" montage.
One thing that is really unclear is how much influence angels have while within holy fire and demons within a devil's trap.
Castiel escaped a holyfire ring by twisting a screw and letting some water flow.
Also, my favorite characters in the show as of season six are
Crowley "King of the Crossroads" Leprechaun-Butt
Castiel
Yellow-Eyes/Azazel
Raphael
Gabriel/Trickster
Zachariah
What's-his-face Bobby's Hunter Friend
Death
The Vampire King

I'm really glad they wrapped up pestilence in the beginning of the episode and moved on to other stuff
he was kind of neat but not enough to carry an episode, especially when, unlike war and famine, you were absolutely on the lookout for him
Also liked how he was easily more threatening than both the previous horsemen combined. They were on their knees before they could even approach the bastard.

Season 5 early spoiler
Maybe this is some kind of recurring theme I haven't encountered yet but I thought it was a little lame that War's power all seemed to be tied to that ring.
except for the episode about the avenging angel seeing as they fight demons so often why wouldnt dean believe in angels? or at least god? they use 'kristo' and christian mythology all the time!

they are using magic, which is typically in latin
and dean has pretty much never experienced anything in life that would lead him to believe that there is anything other than awful shit out there

And also some real resentment, all these supernatural horrors and it's pretty clear that heaven could clean house with the blink of an eye

I want more grumpy old man Dean.
That was pretty awesome. I really liked that episode. Best villain.
especially don't be eating spaghetti during the famine episode
Dude does good work.
He's like the king of B-Movie grade villains.
She's awesome.

"Becky, uh... could you quit touching me?"
"No."
And you're so firm!
And you... you're not what I pictured.
"I punched a dick!"
The beginning of this episode almost made my wife throw up. It was awesome.
the gay jokes will never stop killing me oh my go
spoiler for sexy time season 5
Did you kiss him?

protip: 'heart' fucking sucks and is completely plot irrelevant, just skip it
RIDDLE ME THIS PIPMASTER:
WHY ARE ALL OF SAM'S LOVE INTERESTS REALLY LAME
THE ONLY ONE I LIKED WAS AVA AND SHE WAS JUST THROWN OUT IN THE SAME EPISODE AND ALSO TAKEN
I said ok...not great.
And also some real resentment, all these supernatural horrors and it's pretty clear that heaven could clean house with the blink of an eye
They don't because they're assholes
at least we can all agree that the episode before it was amazing
and that we'd like to pinch dean's gruff widdle cheeks
