Ah crap, sorry Victra! I think that's the first time I've done that on here. Either way I love your work and think it's very discernible from Wakka's as well.
Not finished, this was supposed to be just a trial digital ink to work out some ideas before going to paper, but it's taking for fucking ever because I haven't used my tablet in a long time.
Looking for some feedback for where it's at right now. I have the pencil drawing, panel frames, grey, and black all on separate layers.
Sieg, the individual elements look great, but the overall design is lacking. The steak is way too small. Try sketching out a handful of other compositions using the same elements at different scales and with different placements.
Ed: also, yum is better than "nom".
Thanks for the input, I'll keep that in mind and have some variations up later this week.
I have better pictures of that guy I posted a few pages ago.
After some time to think about it, I feel it's pretty good for my second sculpt/serious figure painting attempt. There's obvious things I need to work on, but only practice can fix that. He stands (sits) at about 6" tall.
Kim Kong, if I saw those elements anywhere else, I would say they are really cliché. But for some reason, still unknown to me, I find that drawing very appealing and original, and I really like it, Its just a personal opinion, but "it reached to me", sort of speak, without getting too mistycal either.
Having said that, and taking into consideration that anatomy is not my strongest part (I just dont have a strong part), I belive, that maybe you could try an alternative to the musculature on her upper left arm, I think it looks too strong, unless you were going for that... on second thought, she does look like she works out. And the forehead may be a bit small, but then again, just take that as my personal opinion more than a critic per se.
Yes, with a quick verbal "boom." You take a man's peko, you deny him his dab, all that is left is to rise up and tear down the walls of Jericho with a ".....not!" -TexiKen
Some characters from a story I've been thinking about for the last few months
Id say, "Los Chicles", "Los Chiclosos", "Los mascadores", since gumball could be translated as "goma de mascar", wich would look horrible as a title, it could also be translated as, depending on wich spanish speaking country you quote as. "Caramelo", or "Chicle" (the last one being the one I use).
But then again, I dont know anything about the characters, the story, and the doodle thread is not necesarily for critiques, but I do take interest in all things latin, or latin american and I find that picture really cute and.. it makes me want to know more about the characters!

Thanks guys! And thanks for that Fantomas, I was actually thinking about naming them 'Los Chicles', my mum is Spanish and I was asking her about translations but I thought 'Los Gumballs' had a nice ring to it. 'Los Mascadores' sounds pretty good though, I haven't heard that before and I'm only coming up with the ideas for it now really so definitely willing to change it.

That's a nice drawing. I immediately pictured her as like a wizard janitor at Hogwarts or something. You should make that staff a mop. : )
Stuff.

This isn't finished, but I should probably do some uni work. I miss being able to draw whenever I want.
haha your interpretation is genius and also justifies all of my reasons to draw
I was looking for monster ideas and she suggested Seinfeld Sphinx
