    It'll be interesting to see how Obi interprets "the nearest wizard" for MCGoodOmens. The most easily targeted wizard (long straight hallway, 7 away) is further away than two other wizards.

    Are you saying he would move to A6 and target art? Because MC wizards dont target each other or monsters (since they are all controlled by cinder)

    Otherwise what are you saying? He is clearly closest to jdark and you (if your big fat butt wasnt partially covering a wall)

    Bedlam loses a little blood before finally sealing up his wound. He looks at the soulless husk of a wizard standing in front of him and quickly throws a fireball at his enemy. The mind-controlled wizard reels back and catches on fire. Bedlam sets his feet, ready to finish off his foe, and throws a charged spell, making the distinctive "Zot!" sound when it leaves his fingertips. The mind-controlled wizard somehow deflects the attack and it only grazes the shoulder of the soulless wizard. With shock and anger, Bedlam runs up to his foe and starts punching him. "Why" Punch. "Wont" Punch. "You die!!!" Mind-controlled artadius falls to the ground and his body turns to ash and dissipates.

    Bedlam, wasting no time, boosts past the Golem and creates a wall in his wake, sealing the Golem in and preventing it from chasing him. He finally finds a treasure and picks it up, but not before dropping his powerstone with a note attached, reading "Powerstone sucks and anybody who picks this up also sucks"

    blahmcblah is angered at the sight of the unkempt thornbush in his path and the rage causes him to turn into a werewolf. With his new speed and some boosting, he runs the long way around the maze until he comes face to face with his foe, capfalcon. The blue wizard is stunned at the on fire werewolf with a mightstone in one hand. That small moment of hesitance is all blahmcblah needed to get one powerful swipe in, sending capfalcon's body to the ground and his head against the opposite wall.

    blahmcblah stands on his hind legs and lets out a roar of victory. Wasting no time, he destroys the thornbush in his path and moves towards his next target. He can smell another blue wizard nearby and he lets another growl, this time one of warning, at his new target.


    Actual Orders:
    Wolf out.
    Werewolf Form | Neutral | Self/LOS | Permanent | Transform yourself or target creature into a werewolf. Its base move is now 4. A werefolf's punches inflict physical damage equal to the result of a die roll. Werewolves can only cast counter spells.
    Boost movement with Waterbolt(3).
    Move to N15 (the long way, not going through the thornbush).
    Firemaul Capfalcon. (Werewolf attack roll: 1, Might stone attack roll: 4, Extra damage from fire cloak: 2)

    Tayrun boosts and heads towards his new target. Along the way he stops and stares through the rubble of two destroyed walls and notices a yellow gnome. "I hate gnomes," he thinks to himself and fires off a slow death curse at the gnome. Darian fails to dodge the horrible curse, but luckily the null powder on his belt stopped the spell before it could take hold. Tayrun shrugs, creates a fog that envelops the entire maze and then continues on.



    Actual Orders:
    Move north as far towards C13 as I can get.
    use energy(4 + 1 powerstone) to boost to get me into LOS of Darian and cast Slow Death on him.
    Slow Death | Attack | LOS | Permanent | Curse target wizard to suffer a lingering death. While this spell lasts, target wizard suffers 1 magical damage each time he draws a card. Target is not forced to draw cards. This spell only counts as an attack on the turn it is cast.

    Darian wipes his brow in relief that the curse was cancelled. He would have hate to use his dispel power on something other than the humunculus on that green wizard he had his eyes on. After doing the aforementioned, he sneaks through the maze and finds the wall he hopes is the right one. He destroys the wall and hears the sounds of an angered and hurt wizard on the other end.

    When the smoke clears, jdarksun can be seen visibly through the now open space in the wall. Darian sets his little feet and gets ready to end the life of one of his competitors.

    A tumbleweed rolls through the hallway between them both.

    The clock rings twelve.

    Darian quickly fires off a Brain Burn, hoping to incapacitate his foe to be able to finish him off easier. But jdarksun was quicker and absorbs the spell harmlessly. Darian takes the opportunity, while his previously cast spell was being absorbed, to boost his magic power in preparation to launch an endless array of deadly fire bolts that would certainly end the green wizard's fading life. But jdarksun recovered more quickly than Darian had expected, and instead he felt the magic power he was gathering suddenly backlash inside himself causing immense damage internally.

    Disappointed and without any other ideas, Darian sneaks away around the corner hoping that duel took just as much out of his opponent as it did him.


    Actual Orders:
    Dispel the Humunculous that is guarding jdarksun.
    Dispel | Neutral | Any | Instant | End 1 target non-instant spell as well as any spells affecting that spell
    Sneak carefully around the corner to E10, watching both ways for golems or werewolves.
    Destroy the Wall at E8/E9, causing 2 damage to jdarksun

    Wave jauntily to jdarksun, pretend I'm a regular gnome and hit him with Brain Burn

    Discard Energy (5) to power a salvo of Fire Darts at jdarksun to hopefully finish him off.
    Fire Darts | Attack | LOS | Instant | Shoot a number of fiery darts equal to this spell's energy at target object or wizard. Each dart may have a different target. Each dart deals 1 magical fire damage to its target. They each count as a separate damage source and must be countered separately.
    jdarksun counters with Backlash
    Backlash | Counter | Any | Instant | Cancel 1 attack spell targeting you as it is cast. The caster of the canceled attack spell then suffers the magical damage equal to the canceled spell's energy. This is not an attack and can not be evaded
    Darian takes 5 damage
    Discard Pick Lock(3) to boost movement and run away to E11.

    And yes, the fog that Tayrun cast the previous turn should have prevented Darian from being able to attack from two squares away. Since their turns were concurrent and Darian only needed one more movement to make his attacks work, I let it slide. Darian would have probably just moved one square closer to get his attacks in anyways.

    Question about fire darts:
    They each count as a separate damage source and must be countered separately.

    Shouldn't that mean he still takes damage from most of the darts? That's an odd interaction with Backlash, which targets a spell rather than the damage.

A brilliant idea comes to him and he turns his body to mist allowing him to pass right through the small space in the door hinges. Leaving behind a thornbush in his wake, Harlon makes a mad dash through the maze and finally ends up next to a clearly confused and bloody werewolf.     Actions for Ghosts:
    Haunt: Make a standard move. If target wizard is within LOS, may deal 2 damage to target wizard OR if target monster is within LOS, may double monster movement and damage.
    Shriek: Move towards target wizard. If/when adjacent to target wizard (ignoring walls), target wizard takes 5 damage and can only either attack or move next turn. Then reset back to center square.
    Possess: Move towards target wizard. If a wizard dies this turn while in LOS of you, you take over their body. The wizard that scored the kill still gets all rewards and cards. Possessed Wizards gain a new profile.

    Monsters will update at the same time as the ghost turn.

    Monster turn:

    SeGaTai moves towards the severely weakened jdarksun and hopes for a body to possess.
    capfalcon feels himself lose control over his new incorporeal form.

    Golem throws rocks in every direction hitting only stone walls.
    Werewolf moves towards the smell of an injured wizard.
    Slime finds a nearby wizard to attach to and jumps to latch on to Harlon's head. Instead, it only finds mist.
    Cinder's absolutely horrible aim continues as he launches a fireball towards the northwestern most tile. It does no damage and hurts absolutely no one. In his anger, he screams. "You puny mortals will now be treated to the full power of my wrath. I will be coming out to end all of your insignificant lives MYSELF."

    The outer ring of hellfire walls we be dropped during the next monster turn. Cinder's move will be increased to 5 and his base attack will be turned to LOS

    jdarksun can hear the sounds of a severely injured gnome but is too tired to reach him. Instead, he stumbles through the maze and casts a stun spell, making the familiar Zot! sound, at the werewolf that would just not stop hunting him. He finally turns his body into mist as a final safeguard to give himself a chance to rest and think.

    Things to note:

    Fog is still enveloping the map. LOS can only be traced one square until it is dispelled. Check Map Key for more details.

    Outer Hellfire walls will be dropped after the next Monster turn.
    Good news: Relics will be easier to get.
    Bad News: Cinder will now be roaming the map.
