I don't know, but I'm annoyed that I didn't see the bundle with the Season Pass until after I'd bought Quantum Conundrum.

Also, my Steam username is RetroGamerDunn. If I could get an add in the PA group I'd appreciate it.

Holy crap my inbox just got tribbled (is that a verb, too?) by free copies of the Ship.

I can only pick one... what should I do with the extras?

Or is that the price of admission? Now *I* have to try and find homes for the game?

Yes, now you get to PA it forward - looks like a lot of new people just got into this thread (myself included). I'm gonna start chucking around copies of Jedi Academy as soon as the Summer Sale starts, because we ALL need to be playing that multiplayer.

I am in the business of saving lives.

Anyone can feel free to add me on Steam, too. My PC died so I'm only using my MBP right now. Debating on whether to spring for a copy of Windows so I can boot camp some full-fledged steaming, but ugh, sales

It's crazy isn't it? The pricing alone made going to back to PC gaming worth it for me. I did the Gamefly sale too - I managed to get Dead Space 1 & 2, Mass Effect 1 & 2 and Batman AA GOTY and AC for a total of $32. It's really amazing - and the games are better looking to boot. It would have cost me at least that much just for AC alone on my PS3.

I still use my PS3 - mostly for sports, multiplayer games, and Netflix.

Don't forget frame rate! I laugh so hard when I hear people gushing about how awesome it is that developers managed to get the latest game "locked at 30". Bitch, 30 is LOW.

The demo of Sonic Generations on the PC was the first game I really noticed it on - I could hardly play the game on the consoles (I tried both 360/PS3 versions) - the framerate bothered my eyes and gave me headaches. The PC version moved so smoothly I couldn't believe it was the same game. It's on my wishlist now waiting for a good sale.

PC version of Generations is my favourite Sonic game, ever. All time.

I used to qualify that with "of the 3D games" but now, nope. Pretty sure that at this point I've had slightly more fun with it than I did with even 3&K.

It is also the game that finally made me appreciate the difference in 30 and 60fps. Up til then I honestly hadn't noticed it. :P

I really wish there was a way to reset the "time played" clock. Dark Void Zero is at something absurd like 137 hours, and that's due to either a bug (e.g., it stayed resident in memory), or me leaving the game open while I went to work. Or some combination thereof.

I just got into computer gaming again, and was recommended to go to this thread to find out more about Steam, Steaminess, and Steamaucity. What should I be looking for on Steam. Like what games should I definitely get, which should I avoid, are there any good bundles now, and do you think that Quantum Conundrum will be worth getting(I kind of want to preorder it, but if ya'll know more about it any additional info would be appreciated).
In conclusion, what I've read so far on here has guided several purchases already and this thread is pretty damn good.

Also, my steam ID is Beril131.

Hmm, the problem with that lambentstew steam web app is that it counts DLC as a separate game and it is always 0 hours played.

I have a love/hate relationship with Duels of the Planeswalkers.

    I love the game.

I hate that after buying it I go out and blow $50-$100 on the real version despite not having anyone to play with.

This real version? You'll never not have anyone to play with ever again.

I've played with it before, but I don't really like the UI and it's not the same as having cards in my hand. (Planeswalkers is cheap and is much nicer, which goes a long way in making up for not having cards in hand)

I like the game. Flawed, but lots of fun. Mainly because slow-mo bullets wrecking nazi heads/bones/organs/testicles is dang satisfying. When it drops to gifting price I'd totally hand it out like candy.

I've not done much co-op, but I was playing a lot of the multiplayer for a while. Much slower paced than the standard fps, heap of fun to me. I think they've added 4 free maps since launch.

I really need to fire it up again but I've been a bad person and have been console playing lately. I'm sure the summer sale will have me serving the Newell again though.

I did a review in the site in my sig. Basically the demo has nearly everything you're likely to enjoy in the full game. The full game just stretches it out over a full campaign and adds some annoying crap like corridors and 'stand here and kill 50 nazis before moving on'.

There are a couple of pretty cool counter-sniping sections though I guess.

    It's just less good

Not as janky but they made some odd decisions like artefacts and anomalies would only be in certain predefined areas, bandits don't give a shit about you apart from in like one place so you can walk up to them and shot them in the head and none of the other bandits care

It's a lot more stable than SoC and its the one I go back to more often but SoC is the better representation of the Zone
