What's bumming me is that I am running into mobs I cannot kill no matter what I do. They one-shot me and I'm wondering why am I suddenly so squishy.
Oh well. I'll just quit for a couple of days until the frustration bleeds off.

It sounds fun; the problem is that I haven't figured out how to make grenades fun to use yet. Aiming them is a bitch and a half because of the way d3 picks targets. Even I hold down the stand button and fire, it'll still fire at the place the mob is right now and not where it's moving to, even if I'm clicking clearly off of the mob, so the majority of grenades will just fly past any mob walking toward me.
The reduction on cluster arrow is so so, It's still a ridiculously expensive ability.

Essence Burn is actually a hold over when I used to run Sweeping Wind/Cyclone, which up until now was enough to kills something near me quick enough to keep the entire mob exploding over and over again. I guess I've just grown attached. I think I might switch over to the build I was using before, but with Flesh is Weak. I think all the bullshit in A2 scared me into using such a defense focused build.
Let's see how this goes.

I think I need a better supplement to it but the damage is really quite good and if I could get some decent life on hit I would be able to stand in place and take a few hits while giving monsters the bath of my people
I guess if you don't know that the auction house offers cheap upgrades to enter inferno (or just can't use it because you're simple), don't understand that you need money after buying upgrades, don't know about elective mode, don't understand that you shouldn't always be on the furthest progress act you've been, stack vit and ignore resistances, don't vendor items, well maybe.
I guess it's feasible. I have a friend who plays barb and was severely undergeared for inferno until he was hooked up. pre gearing him it was pretty bad, died every 10 secs or so even if he just chilled back away from everything. But he kept doing it because 'that was the part of the game he was on'.
He also has a masters degree in economics.
