hmmm i think this sausage defrosted for too long. it's not rotten or anything, but it's not cold enough. when cutting it some of the insides fall out of the casing. blech. damn you aunt!

Stereotypical bad marriage.

Basically with the convo as it stands right now, I feel like she's still resentful over something and I'd like to think I've let that shit go. Like, I try to be cordial and inviting. I've invited her and her new guy over to hang a few times. I'd LIKE to be able to text her from time to time and say hi and hope she's doing well.

In spite of what happened, I still love her. I just don't think we were a good couple and I don't see the point behind "delete my number, don't talk to me again" if there's nothing else that she has going on emotion/thought wise. The fact that she just texted me that she's turned down my invitations because I "made it known that I felt she was just using/mooching off me", which is true, that's how I felt when we divorced, and that I think she "deserves the crappy situation she's in with her lame job and living near the ghetto", which is only slightly true in that I don't tell people that but have agreed with others said it.

I dunno.

I don't hate her. I want her to be happy. I want us to have some kind of connection so I can know that she's doing okay. Her arbitrary request just makes me think there's still bad blood when I feel like I've let it go.

some people just deal with things differently

when I have a breakup I prefer to go cold turkey and have no contact until I am 100% better

because at that point what I care about is me and my feelings, not you

then later maybe we can be friends (or maybe by that point I will not give a shit)

oh heavens no I played the first two

I never finished Human Revolution though. I think I spent a little bit wandering around after fighting the first boss cyborg guy and realized I wanted the game to be Crackdown instead of what it was.

ok so i cut up the sausage, i put a lil salt, a lil black pepper, and then some garlic salt

then i have them in a pan on medium for about 10 minutes per side to brown them

then i will put in some water (maybe about a third of the way up the sausages?) and let it sorta half simmer for a while

that's how my aunt does it anyway so that's what i'm doing i guess

Mangy stray kitten is still here in the back yard. He's hiding under the diving board where it's shady. I called up the two closest animal shelters and they said they were both full so now, besides giving him a rug to sleep on and bowls of milk and water, I don't know what to do with this cat. Another 2 days and he'll be a corpse.

I put it on an open flame like a man.

And when I say open flame I mean an electric current running through a heating element on an electric grill. Turns out pretty amazing, let it cook for like 40 minutes or so on mediumlowishness. Plus if I'm making peppers and onions I put them on the griddle portion with some oil. Shit be good for inside grilling.

It's just really difficult. Despite how it ended, we were married, I loved her. It's just awkward thinking "Okay, I can't talk to her". I don't want to define whatever relationship we have out of the blue. okay, i got a computer question. I just ripped out my old computer's HDD and put it in my new one so i can finally get back old files.

Now i'm not sure what to do after i transfer out my old stuff i want to keep... How do I format a drive? Should i format it at all? Formatting means erasing everything and getting a blank slate back, right?
