Day Five:
SLyM was selected to investigate the crystal. As he approached the crystal he passed a sad Original Fish. Someone had told Shiny New Toys that she would be eating the crystal tonight. Her sorrow did not last long and the next time she was seen it was with large teeth marks all over her.
Dolphins are not a type of fish that anyone had ever heard of. The fish were a bit suspicious of this, and gathered to eat this strange creature. He sure was large. His teeth were pretty large too. In fact, some of the more observant fish noticed some similarities between ecco the dolphin and the Juvenile Cladoselache they had found the previous day. The fish enjoyed the taste of shark. (Ah the days before you had to worry about bioaccumulation of mercury)
The sea creatures decided to capitalize on their success and bring down any creature claiming to not be a fish. They rounded up a Jellyfish and swarmed it. Countless bites rained down on Phyphor’s gelatinous body until it could take no more.
The sharks decided to follow the sea creatures’ lead. They formed up and surrounded a brightly colored Sea Slug. They had never seen such a beautiful creature before. Anialos vowed to evolve jaws first, fashion later next time.
A large Eel was also found dead, the tell-tale large teeth marks all over his body. REG Rysk had always hoped that his long body would help keep him out of trouble, not get him into it.
The sharks were angry. They were attacking their children. What pitiful horrific creatures these other fish were. No one was willing to pick on someone their own size. Well, they’d make them pay. The Adult Cladoselaches looked around for something to bite, but what they saw merely infuriated them further. ObiFett had been nearly bitten in half by some sort of horrific jaws.
Somewhere, far from everything else, an Original Fish swam aimlessly. After failing to eat for two days, BertezBertez died of hunger.
After everything had settled, another crystal was found by the fish.
Will anyone investigate this crystal?
