    I'd be fine with any setting, if they'd just move off the current kill-everyone in the fun box game modes.
    At this point I'm hoping for either randomly generated maps, or a variety of semi-capable npcs milling about while one team stages a coup or something.

    A page late, but yeah mines are awesome.

    Admittedly not as awesome as they were in BC2, but still pretty great

    I'm finally getting the hang of jets. I'm about 100 points shy of rocket pods and I'm hoping they'll really open my ability to wreck dudes on the ground.

    Getting the zoom scope on the attack chopper gunner has been a godsend for me too, particularly on Caspian Border. I went 36-0 in a gunner seat one time, which was awesome but it doesn't really quantify how useful me and my chopper bro were in disrupting the enemy armour. Our two jet pilots and AA tank guy were on their game too, so we didn't have to worry too much about enemy aircraft. It got to the point that the bad guys were just leaving their tanks in spawn and taking jeeps/hoofing it around anywhere because they just kept getting shut down :twisted:

    Drive around in a jeep covered with mines then jump out next to infantry to kill them. Best thing to do with mines.

    It would be nice to see some more modern weapons in BF4. Ghost Recon a few cool ones like the Remington ACR and the Vektor.

    Except they didn't correctly convey that the ACR is a giant heaping chunk of shit. Anytime someone asks me why I don't stock or work on them I show them my collection of chewed up mags from my shortlived tester. It really is a chunk of shit that RemDef ruined by not further developing the design and instead rushed into production. It tells you something when several of the original design/development team are saying its a piece of shit in its current form.

    Admittedly there hasn't been that much progress in the assault rifle front. Mostly everything is a variation of the AR-15 I think.

    Thats why I think BF should go the way of Burnout and just design up its own cool gun porn and vehicles.

    Stealth content patch, free update apparently hit. Nerve gas grenades. New squad perk- gas mask, grants immunity to the grenades, which are otherwise incredibly devastating. Medics have atropine syringes they can jab into people's chests to save them.

    So you guys should join us. We're going to play for a bit. Because of this new patch, you see, with nerve gas.
