...I'm so sorry, megaman fans. As a diehard Sonic fan, trust me, I know how this feels. It'll get better again, one day.

Megaman X-over (pronounced Cross-over) is the long awaited meeting of the original games and the X series, with all other incarnations of Megaman thrown in for good luck. For iOS. And it's a social RPG.

    But on the other hand, that episode was meant to be a preview of sorts to a cartoon series that thankfully was never produced.

    Pretty much, yea, but the story moves along quickly and doesn't spend much time in your way. They kinda downplay the whole magical elves thing in the later games. The gameplay itself remains fantastic, of course.

    But no seriously, even as someone who's been down on Capcom's stupid bullshit of late, I'm still bemused at this. Fans want some goddamned Megaman game for years so they churn out... a social RPG? Alright, duders, whatever you want.

    I mean, I can't even say, "Well, maybe it'll actually be great. Who knows, guys?" Because it's a social game (that's probably grind and microtransaction heavy if it fits the mould), and those are never particularly good at the most generous.
