Destroyer also replaces the Human Soldier in my opinion.
I do hope Bioware goes and buffs the human soldier and turian soldier instead of nerfing the Destroyer though. The Destroyer is really fun to play for me without being godmode.

More Turian love would be grand in the upcoming release. One can only hope.
I can only imagine what is going through their unknowable alien minds, but I suspect that the feeling that they have towards Shepard is close to the feeling that most mortals would feel in the presence of the Leviathans.
Shepard is.
I got a real Doctor Who vibe from that part.
"Oh, you aren't afraid of me? Why don't you check your database and then see if you want to pursue that train of thought"
I'm still dreading the Ardat Yakshi monestary, and the final stand in London, though. Although, Brutes and Harvesters fall pretty fast to my team's proximity mine/carnage/dark channel/frag grenade/Widow headshot barrages. I might do alright.

boy it was really really too bad it wasn't part of the main game. I still don't like the ending of ME3 from a gameplay perspective but this does make the story a bit tidier
Though...
One of the great failures of the ending is that it makes Shepard human, completely ignoring the fact that she's been superhuman since the start of ME2.
It's her one weakness.
They've got some rather high-powered indoctrination compared to the Reapers.

since mass effect 2? get out of here. shepard has had immunity since mass effect 1. and the original mass effect pistol.
her death was a nerf for the universe.
"The Leviathan's are in Shepard's mind. They're looking at her memories. It's dawning on them what Shepard has already done, what Shepard is capable of. The way in which Shepard fights off their control several times before the conversation starts implies a suggestion that Shepard lets it happen to facilitate communication."
I think the story supports this. Shepard goes to great lengths to seek the Leviathans out, so when she finally makes contact, her desire to talk is great enough that she allows the indoctrination. If I recall the cutscene correctly, she broke contact twice before the full conversation is allowed to run its course, so there's at least a very strong implication that the Leviathans' control over her is temporary and/or imperfect.
Ah yes, "immunity"
Area reave being both a setup and a detonator is pretty great too.
Also I finished leviathan
also I didn't realize shepard can run with the stupid backpack package, so I did 90% of that sequence walking around and blowing up everything in my way. It wasn't until the very end that I inadvertently discovered that shepard could run with it.
my unofficial autobio will be accompanied with tips on how to smile
cause I've found that when they don't see you frown, they never know that you're a threat
and they don't sweat you when you came around

This game was going to be in my top ten when the GOTY poll hit this year, but after seeing the extended cut and playing Leviathan, I'm bumping it straight to number one. There's still some games that could dethrone it. Assassin's Creed 3 is probably the strongest contender... maybe XCOM, but Shepard cannot be defeated.
Also, playing an uber-paragon Shep with the ruthless backstory is pretty interesting. People percieve Shep in one way when she's actually Space Jesus, and is very remorseful she had to send all those soldiers to their deaths.

Thats nothing. Shepard can charge with the backpack on.
Once I noticed Shepard moving at normal speed while wearing it, I figured it out.

I wouldn't consider it a true ending myself.
It's more of giving the fans exactly what they asked for - letting the Reapers win.
Shepard can even charge with the package.
I bet the N7 operatives cry themselves to sleep watching vids of Shepard in action.

Wat? Why would you want to let the Reapers win? Harbinger's comments alone ensure that you should never want to let the Reapers win.

Completely off topic, but I find that these boards are really spoiler sensitive. To an extent that continues to surprise me. I figure it's better to be safe than sorry.
There's some evidence that spoilers actually increase enjoyment, but it's obviously not the case for all people.

A Turian with Marksman and a Harrier still gets me better results than a Piranha for whatever reason. With laser precision on an enemy head, random mooks just melt. Ammo limitations mean it's not as effective on bosses and what not, but you do your part with Proxy Mine.
It's probably one of my favorites, even if it feels less effective than some other classes. I'd give away a bunch of other Ultra-rares in exchange for more delicious Harrier.
