yeah, Quake ctf was teh bomb. The sniper rifle was so gay.
everyone else was useless
engineers were totally outclassed in TF1
i was usually a medic but only cause it was fun
nobody was ever heavy weapons
I ripped it up as a spy! That was the most fun shit ever!
On the 2fort map, you go into the area outside their spawn (disguised of course) and backstab someone (or a few). Blow up the turret that is ALWAYS there.
Then I'd run out to the outside ledge (where the snipers usually snipe from, and often kill them as well) and play dead there while they were in "heighten awareness", then return to my exploits.
It was like an early online MGS. Sort of.
We laughed at him for a second, and the engineer built a sentry on top of him before he could do anything, pinning him to the ground.
Then I got my cable modem and decided to be a LPB and snipe. I had a scout who would run balls to the wall across the bridge in 2 fort as soon as he spawned, and I would headshot him every time. His teammates were in hysterics after the 5th or 6th time it happened, and when he finally dove into the water to take a different route, they let me know.
The dumb shit popped up out of the water right in front of our fort, next to the bridge. I capped hikm, he called me a faggot motherfucker, and left.
Basically, it is a game where you shoot two portals at things and travel through them, hopefully creating situations where you can punch yourself in the back of the head.
