I know that a new thread was around 50 pages when I went to Africa for 10 days, and when I came back a new one had started and was around page 90, and now this one is here 3 days later...
I want a stage based on some of the boss fights in Super Mario World: A big platform that floats on lava, and its balance shift depending on the weight put on a side. For example, if all 4 players go to the left, it will dip into lava. Lava would just kick you around like acid in Samus' level. If this is too "flat", how about this: Two such platforms, and in the middle, that spinning wheel that used to hold these fire-breathing dinosaurs? Or, the platform floats on lava but there's current, so midair platforms appear from the right once in a while and just pan away to the left (kind of like the platforms in the Big Blue level).

A level based on Mario Bros.
There would be no bottomless pit but you could die from the sides or the top. You could jump thru the platforms, meaning you can't just hide down. As for the gimmicks, it's obvious: The fireball, the crabs, turtles and flies. Make it work, Nintendo!
Diddy Kong is now a character? Wow, this game really seems to be heading for a lot of characters to play. I hope it stays Smash Bros style of quality vs quantity though. I don't want any fighters who blatantly suck more than others or ones who are stupidly overpowered. An unbalanced Smash Bros would ruin the game for me.

I wonder if each pokemon will have their own final smash or will the trainer bring out a Deoxys or some big-name pokemon.
It's probably all three attacking at once or god willing he tosses out a Pokeball and you get to play as Snorlax.

I have this intuition that Ridley will be a playable fighter. I have no good reason to think this, but I do.
If he's NOT playable, I bet he will at least show up as a boss or something.
